Welcome to the other forums of IF - I too love the non - serial / non - filmy forums, (this one, the book talk, music corner and the creative gallery) these are peaceful ones, with the visitors being quite serious in what they do - no bashing, no fandom wars, no ugly spats (I hated that in the SR forum😡😡😡) see, even me rambling away, - absolutely serious about it😆 😆 not too enamoured with the Fan Fictions Forum though - mostly about IPKKND and well those tales, no comments😉

I will get back to both your other comments, and regarding the assignment of elements, what you did was what Viji had done for her Elements series, my edits are for my ballad, where Sanskaar is Fire. I have a detailed note as to why Sanskaar is Fire, which I have promised Viji, once I complete the entire Elements panel I shall post both the edit and the write up on my index (the ballad thread is closed and the edits on that post - hideously childish)

I love your Element panel Nyna! The final result was awesome!
Sanskar is undoubtedly perfect as fire. And Swara is the water/ice, only one who can lower his fury.

And Ragini is earth or forest/ trees really I can't decide. Like she is all comforting and give shade when everything in her life is calm and quite. Laksh who is like air for her to breathe in, if he goes berserk and turns into storm, she like those trees breaks down and people who were near her get hurt.

Haha.. I liked the first page article on the terminologies. And I love that Elements panel. Reminds me of Xyna from my FF 😆 Well, I am self-absorbent I guess.

I will check in from time to time over here. It's heartwarming to see a familiar face in other forums.

I admire you as you are able to do something I can't do till now ..

I keep writing and posting to overcome my fear and hesitancy, which is why I use this thread - it helps me keep writing and slowly build confidence in myself.

About "Caged" I posted the prologue on a whim, and it didn't get that response. ( It's difficult to get noticed there). Then my other stories are already tiring me. A part of me agrees that it makes no sense posting a tale if it does not get any response, but then a part of me is hopeful that perseverance pays😆It is not easy getting noticed here either, the serial forums have a ready audience, but once the serial is over, you can notice the dip. The Writers' Corner - is a very silent place, with few ripples, so in a way you can gain confidence to keep posting (that is what I do with all my ideas😆😆) and who know, maybe someday it will get viewership (which would be zero if I never posted)

When I mentioned culture, I referred to that of the readers, the ones in here in IF are very very tolerant, we rarely object to writing style/ grammatical errors / technical bloopers, because we are primarily a Fan base, give us our OTP and the story can take a back seat. Which is why if you want to experiment (imagine writing Pyre with SwaSan) it is preferable to post it here.

I am not comfortable with Ipad when compared to a laptop (since I use it extensively for work, it is easy for me). I use PhotoShop C5 and Lucky is the inspiration for me.😊

When Viji wrote her Elements' series of OS, we differed only in Sanskaar and Ragini for she visualised Sanskaar as Earth and Ragini as Fire.

Mine is for a Ballad that I wrote for the SwaSan Wedding. I had promised Viji I would let her know how I decided Sanskaar was Fire (apart from the imagery my mind conjures up when I imagine him😆😆) and finally got around to do it - updated in my index " A Telling of Tales"

And I am so glad to see you here too.

This thread was started off as an index for my non FF / non SwaSan tales and for quite sometime had the link to only one tale (still does😆) but then when I wanted to start posting a few of my other writing which I had to get it out but did not think them worthy of preparing a new thread, I decided to use this thread to "store" them. Same with the terms / parables etc - no point starting a new thread and trying to index all of them.

The Element panel - I love it too - I think I like my ballad also a bit better now. Xyna - she is a water element or has powers of all the elements but mastery over water (good that you can relate to your FF - it must be on your mind all the time).
