I know whom you are biased towards, as are all of us. Why do think I had to struggle so much with Earth (even though I do not hate her perse) and Air (the trouble I had with him, I guess our inherent dislike flows into our work, does it not?)

I could do a little dance, but then I will do another equally crazy thing.

This is a draft (I will update the improved version, if I get around to doing it) of my take about Persephone and is dedicated to Lucky, my inspiration for all the PS that I do.

This is option 1 (draft 1)

I so love her take of the myth of Persephone and Hades in the modern avatar of Sanskaar and Swara (the switch of names is deliberate) and I went back to reread all the myths. One thing that struck me is the existence of an early myth, where Persephone is a willing visitor to the underworld and Hades had no hand in bring her there. I like this idea,(very much easier for me to accept her falling in love with Hades) and ever since then, I have this germ of an idea (which will turn to a full blown viral attack) of writing a sonnet(s) or ballad from Persephone PoV (the pleasant version with her being a willing visitor but knowing how distraught her mother would be).

And I could also bring into play: "You, who are fearful of the night; Knows not the horrors inflicted by the light"

Enough of rambling for now.

Sanskaar is such a fiery blazing personality - you have to fall in love with him. And your words have gone to my head (proof is above).

I do haunt the A&S Forum, which is where I learnt about the Book cover contest, I prepared two covers but did not submit them (too childish, I felt, especially the blurb - I am not sure how I would be able to write a story on that.

I have posted them on this thread, still have to update the credits.

Women in mask - downloaded as wallpaper, no details of model mentioned

Side profile - both the pictures are of Emily Rossum, an American actress, director and singer-songwriter. The one to the left is of her as Jennifer Ramsey in the movie "Poseidon" and the other has been downloaded from Google (the last post I could trace it gave credit to emmyweb,net.

Both the flower pictures have been downloaded from Google.

Note to myself:

Never delay or postpone the credits for the pictures - going back to google at a later period and identifying the source is time taking and frustrating, not to mention the time needed to update the credits in all the posts they are scattered in.
