Dear Nyna,

I had to literally put strain on my cerebral hemispheres to respond to your 'I want to be a writer' post. While writing this I m still in two minds ,as I feel that my words will fall short for this masterpiece of yours.

You just articulated my concerns and fears into this piece which I am sure would be visited by me again and again.
I will confess, that my writing is still searching for an equilibrium between the fictional inspirations and fan base.

Before posting anything on the fan fiction sites, I always ask myself these questions
Why I m posting this creation of mine? Is it because I want to give a boost to my ego or It's simply for my own sake ?

The vagueness of the answers which come back to me is daunting, but after reading this post I feel optimistic and energised as I , now know that I m not the only one in the dilemma.

Keep writing!
Cumber

PS - Missy ! you are a brilliant writer, so never hesitate to associate with the writer tag.

Wiki Defintiion

A writer is a person who uses written words in various styles and techniques to communicate their ideas.

There are times when you write something and keep it to yourself and will not feel like sharing. What does that make us 😉 a rambler ? or a writer because self communication is also a kind of communication😛

And this reminds me of a word -"Jouska (n) a hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head"

My mind is full of Jouska - of tales written, of stories being penned, of tales yet to be formulated, conversations with friends I have just met or will meet soon, what I should have said or not said - the list is endless. Guess it is quite noisy up there😆😆😆

Dear Cumber,

Those questions are precisely the ones that haunt you - where does one draw the line between writing for/on our OTP and penning actual stories about the OTP (using the couple because you have a ready made characterisation, and you do not have to start from scratch). Guess striving for balance is a perpetual task and our answers vary as per our moods.

I will keep writing, as of now, no plans to stop.

@bold above - thank you😳😳

Best

I can totally imagine Watson blurting out all that .

PS - just saw the above post,
Sherlock *sigh*...
Damn! I can't get over him 😳

Trivia for you, Cumber:

Since Sherlock made its premiere in 2010, fans of the BBC series have repeatedly claimed that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's legendary "consulting detective" Sherlock Holmes is the role that Oscar-nominated actor Benedict Cumberbatch was born to play. Turns out, they might be right.

According to the Independent, researchers at Ancestry.com recently made a fascinating discovery: Cumberbatch and Sherlock Holmes creator Doyle are sixteenth cousins, twice removed. The ancestral link between the two is former Duke of Lancaster John of Gaunt, who was Doyle's 15th great-grandfather and Cumberbatch's 17th great-grandfather.

Amazingly, this isn't the first time Cumberbatch's ancestry has been linked to one of his characters. In 2014, the same team of researchers determined that Cumberbatch was the 17th cousin of Alan Turing, the computer scientist/codebreaker he played in Morten Tyldum's The Imitation Game (2014)"a role that earned Cumberbatch an Oscar nomination in 2015.

Not so elementary after all.

Lucky - it looks great and your way of explaining is real good. I am now going to try out (I have to remember the inches not pixels) and will post my "awfulsome" results😆😆😆
BTW - I did not know that marquee tool adjustments thingy (well, not that I know much) so be prepared for me to be surprised at every turn😉
