An Irrational Attraction

Ashna made herself comfortable at the seaat next to the new guy, and the put her attention towards the teacher, as she already had missed around 10mins of the lecture.

The guy sitting next to her whispered"Hiee i am Ayush,am new to this college, just joined today " and forwarded his hand for an intoductory handshake.

Without thinking much Ashna asked up the thing that was bothering for past few minutes, "Have we met before?"

"Hahaa i must say mumbai girls are pretty fast"

As the meaning of his words dawned Ashna , she retorted back with one of her stern angry look, "Look Mr I am not trying to flirt or something ,it was a geniuine question,and i am sorry for disturbing u with my question, I wont repeat it again."

Ashna couldnt believe that guys tongue, here she was geniuienly thinking that maybe she had met him before and he..He was making fun of her,

What does that guy think of himself hun? that he is some Sharukh khan or something that everyone is dying to talk to him,okay agreed he looks normal, with beautiful eyes and a perfect nose with a slight scar at one side, okay not normal maybe handsome,..But i surely dont care.

Ashna kept on talking to herself almost the whole lecture and dint even realize that the lecture was over till she again heard that guys voice.

"Look I am sorry, I had no intention to hurt you, i was just kidding, I am sorrry."he spoke in a polite tone to which Ashna couldnt help but smile.

She fowarded her hands n chirped in, " Hiee I am Ashna, welcome to our college,hope you will like the atmosphere out here."

The time that his hands took in hers for a handshake, Ashna felt a shiver run down her spine, her heart was thudding at such a rate that it could blast off, due joy and happiness,the world around her got blinded, when she further looked into his eyes, those eyes spoke volumes, they were very Very familiar, her brown ones seemed to be caged into them, she couldnt move her eyes, neither her hands were ready to be pulled back.

"Ashna.. oyee Ashna wont u introduce me and Ritika, to your new freind?"

Viaan's shake at her shoulder brought her back to this world, she quickly pulled back her hand and looked anywhere but not in his eyes.

She looked up when she again heard his voice, a voice that gave her goosebumps and an unknown soothing n calmness, she had no idea as to why but then one thing she was sure she indeed has met him before, its just maybe it was during her early childhood days at delhi.

"Hi Ritika and..uh,,"

"Call me Viaan"

"Ohok So hi guys I am Ayush Singhania,new to this college"

Viviaan welcomed him with a hug, and said "Welcome to the college buddy, come its break time we will show you around" and with a hand on his shoulder walked towards the exit.

"These guys really, they dont even take a minute to make freinds lol" Ritika spoke in return all she got was a "hmm" from Ashna and they followed the guys.

Once sure that, Ayush had walked ahead with Viaan , she raised her head to his direction and alas that was the time when he decided to turn back.

He smiled at her, a smile that touched her heart and Ashnas own lips again twisted into a smile and she blushed.

"Ahaan what was that hun Ashna? whats cooking?but must say he looks handsome n he is got a great lean yet well tonned physique"

"Oyee stop drooling over him you already got a boyfreind remember?"

"Ohoo possesive hun?" Ritika further teased Ashna.

"Ri i dont know ,but i feel like i know him, its not just like i am attracted to his charming face or physique, arghh I just don know but it feels like something is pulling me towards him ..some energy..that can drown me, his eyes they felt like they were trying to talk to me tell me something and ontop of all my heartbeat, damn it had no control over itself hahaa Lol now i am sure if i share all these feelings with someone they would be fully convinced that I am Born Psycho hahaaha"

"Hehee Ashna lol no i believe in u, actually once i had read a bookwhere in they were saying that such things happen when u meet ur soul mate"

"Rii lol hahaa u mean that the guy Ayush whom I met an hour ago is my soooul mate?" put in Ashna in a joking tone draging the word soul mate for an impact.

Laughing, joking and pulling each others leg the girls followed the boys wherever they were going.

They had now reached the cafeteria, and were about to setlle at a table when suddenly Ayush stepped on some watery liquid that had graced the floor and was to hit his head on the floor

Ashna and Ritika who were a feet or two behind him

Ashna let out a loud scream.."Sagaaan"
