Beautiful chapter again. I don't think you are a mom yourself but you have managed to capture the essence of motherhood very well in the first para. So big thumbs up for the great job there. :)

The rest of the paras flow smoothly and convey the story well. Sibling rivalry happens everywhere and is sweet too at times but Roshni seemed to be angry at something else...wondering too what can be the reason for this behavior. She seemed happy in class with her little students, the whole classroom part was very cute!

One is hurt sometimes, because of the realisation and inability to accept that somewhere he or she is the cause of a greater hurt. The hurt he or she feels is not a result of someone else's hurtful words but the need to find solace and refuge in the falsehood of being hurt themselves.
^ Beautiful lines. Again highly relatable so brilliant job.

The last part about friend messaging again could relate to it. Often happens that a simple text by an almost forgotten friend makes you so happy and even if you are feeling a bit miffed at them for forgetting you the text makes you smile and forget everything. You described that moment very well.

Good job Dee and thanks for the pm. Continue the story soon! :))

Oh what a relate-able chapter.

A mother wanting that her children should want her. My lunch gang and I were discussing this only today. The only one with a child eventually concluded that she would die if her daughter told her one day she doesn't need her.

Fighting over something as petty as remote snowballing into hurtful arguments. That I can vouch from personal experience that it happens.

When I was a kid even I used to get this stupid joy by rubbing the blackboard. I laugh at myself now 😳

What I don't understand is if it had been 2 weeks since her birthday why did her students give her chocolates and flowers that day?

So, she will go to Riya's engagement? I am waiting to see what happens there next 😊

Hayye!

This was such a beautiful chapter. Like, really beautiful!

I love that starting paragraph on motherhood! The role of a mother is never easy. Yet, the relationship between mother and child is beautiful in its own way.

You know I have been looking forward to reading more about Roshni's past because I guessed something major happened to her which made her lose faith in herself and in her dreams; which wasn't about the non-social attitude. But perhaps I was wrong. It is not one thing, is it? Little moments, simple moments like the one where her brother refused to give her the remote and she retaliated, moments like that made her the person she was. (Although, why her brother was so mean to her is a bit of a mystery to me. I hope you get to it.) It makes her story so subtle and meaningful, I am loving it all the more.🤗

I loved the kids in the story. The dishum-dishum kid was so cute! And I loved how Roshni enjoyed the company and reveled in the innocence of the kids. And they remembered her birthday! They brought her flowers and chocolates. Hayye, how sweet!🤗

I loved how Roshni allowed Riya's message to cheer her up. Not only is she interesting, she is also a beautiful and a really like-able character.

"Just don't sprouting anything that comes to your mind."
I guess you meant "sprout." A typo, I guess. Not that I am picky about minute details but you wanted a bit of constructive criticism and I can't find any fault with the narrative. Good job!

Looking forward to the next update.

Edited my previous comment.

"Life was always beautiful just not pretty."
Now, if you don't mind, I am making this quote my signature.
