Congrats to all the winners and thank you very much for giving me two awards! Thanks to all who voted for my story and for all those who read and liked it! 😊

I want to say a special thanks to reader "a little faith" for the analysis of the stories. You said "alienation from the self is the most fearful thing" and that made my day when I read it because dissociation from the self was exactly what I wanted to bring out in the story! 😳

Thanks NJ for this competition...looking forward to more such innovative ones from you and the other creatives! 👍🏼

Eeeks!!! Everyone who pointed out - thanks - I did make that glaring error of mixing numbers (15 and 11) That's what happens when you do up final drafts of CC posts and a lab review at the same time [don't even want to go into the details of my brilliant blunders on the other front as my advisor very pointedly informed me today :| ]

I so happy that many people actually wrote for this contest, and the reader response was very happening - honestly speaking, I'd been in half minds about the kind of response I could expect when I was doing up the excerpts - so thank you all, for backing it up so generously!

And yes, more contests will come - you can be sure - I love doing this kinda stuff, heh!

I wish I could have voted myself - and that's about the only downside to organizing a contest. To all winners, my heart congrats, and to all participants in general - you guys rock!

NOTE: I'm going to add the user IDs of the author's for the respective stories in the table now - because someone requested it to be added - so you can look it up for reference =)

So with my unsound compass that insists upon seeking 'true north,' my terrible sense of direction and tendency to travel gazing at the stars rather than travel by them, I have made it to the 'destination.'

Sometimes we become 'lost' seeking those destinations that we disregard the journey's scenery. It is the journey that is more important than that destination, for we spend more time in the journey, more moments there, then that final end, and thereby our realization of emotions at that end destination, the 'taste' of fruits of our harvest, are wholly dependent upon those moments journeying there!

Heart felt congratulations to all the winners for that gleam found upon your trophies comes by the sweat of all your competitors. I should say comrades for it is an honour to be the first past the finish line BUT more so by the hearts and souls of those that stood beside you at the start of the race. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would like to say to all the participants thank you for your hard efforts. It was very much appreciated and enjoyed.👏

Thank you to NJ (if I may refer to you by this term of endearment.) I look forward to 2.0 or would that be 1.1?😳

And even though i didnt win anything but still a thank you to all those who liked my story and voted for it. It was my first time in any competition so means alot. Thanks! 🤗

And lastly, thank you NJ for organizing this. Was great fun writting and reading all the wonderful stories!

Congratulations to all the other winners as well...and thanks to everyone for their kind comments and lovely thoughts esp Saba (a little faith). It was fun participating in it...and it was fun reading all the entries.
