When I read it for the first time, I didn't know how to react to be honest. A part of me swelled up with pride to see my wonderful friend write soooooooo well. I loved this one so much Debby I can't even tell you. The way you started with the two old friends meeting up and then their deep discussion, I liked Madhav's approach to life!

His happiness and pride, alas it was not meant to be for long. I am not surprised at the way or indeed the reason why Maya and Anju were so nice to him. People in today's world, not all but majority of them are selfish and only help for ulterior motives and thinking that if I help someone, next time I can take a favour from him or her and they won't mind. Elderly are treated the worst out of the lot here, its so sad but then its a fact. I am so glad at least in India, the situation is better than in the western countries.

Beautifullyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy written Debby! Keep it up.
