She was shocked and just stared at him for a bit. A million things rushing in her head, she didn't know what to say. She just kept staring and thinking how hot he looked, watching him as he stood there smiling patiently while holding her hand. Her stomach was starting to feel uneasy and while thinking about what had just happened, she saw something...

It was his hand that he was waving, "are you still here? I think 10 minutes is enough waiting and we'll be even more late for work now."

"Ok, let's go then" was her reply as she started moving towards the door; he was still holding her hand. To which he said, "Let's go? You're not going to tell me your answer first? I just confessed my feelings to you, you know."

"I know. I heard you, it's just that.. I have never really done this before and I didn't think you liked me that way and I don't really know what to say."

He smiled, "you're so cute."

"Huh? I'm confessing my feelings to you now and you're telling me I'm cute?" She was starting to get irritated, mostly with herself for feeling like a dork.

He ignored her question and said, "Remember the first time we met? I don't know what made me want to go closer to you, but I saw you reading your book while I was playing football with a bunch of friends. I wanted to go talk to you, but that would have been stupid. What would I have said to you? Then my friend threw the football near you and I ran for it even though it wasn't being thrown at me. It had landed a few feet away from you, but I walked closer and found you asleep. You looked so beautiful and so calm... then you woke up.."

"Well, you would be a little confused too if you woke up and found someone staring at you."

"Yeah, I figured I had creeped you out, that's why I didn't say anything when we first met at work, but then I couldn't stay away."

They both smiled at each other.. and then he said, "I think you don't want to go to work today."

"OH GOD, it's 12:30!! Hurry up!" then Jai ran to grab his keys, pulling her along with him and they were both running out of the room when he stopped. To which she said, "what? Did you forget something?"

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" he asked.

"We're still holding hands; what do you think my answer will be?" she winked.
