Then she stood up and looked around. Her eyes stopped at Virat's cabin and she recalled her father's announcement (taking Virat's name as his successor).

In the morning, at the firm. She fixed a meeting with the seniors' trio. (Precap scene) She announced her withdrawal from Arya's case. Virat, unaware, came in angrily. When he said she was doing that because he was getting engaged with someone else, Anu gave him back. "I fail to see the connection" Virat, "Why? You're so one who said let's not mix pro and personal lives...I'm with someone else, so you should learn to deal with it." Anu stood up and replied to him firmly "Enough of this crap, Virat! This is a criminal lawyer's firm, so grow up and be a part of us. Nobody cares who you date and where you're going, not even the peons. The truth is I'm proving my mettle as a lead lawyer every single day. Withdrawing from Arya's case is my personal strategy. It's my personal decision. Ankita, on the terrasse, is upset about Anu's decision, like she can't withdraw from the case, no! No! Harsh arrived and as a friend, told her that he knew something was important for her, that was connected to the case and that she should join Virat's team. Then, little nok jhok between the two, but got interrupted by Anu's call to Ankita. In Anu's cabin, She told Ankita she wants a proper handover to Virat's team and nothing should be left...Suddenly, Virat came and offered to take Ankita under him, but when asked she refused. Virat warned her "You will regret it".

Home, Dadi was listening to the gramophone when she heard a car. She stopped the music and faked to be busy. Anu who arrived, went to speak to her. Both are alone, at the end of their sweet conversation, Dadi tells her you don't know how to deal with your relatives. Anu said I'm ready to learn. Dadi agrees but has 2 conditions. First, she comes back home, and leaves the guest house, shifting everything from there and they will rent it which Anu agrees. Second and more difficult, she accepts to see some pretenders (takes a moment, and after a sip of wine agrees). Handshake, it's a deal and Anu hugged and kissed her.

Virat on the road, driving. Meanwhile, Anu is in her bedroom scrolling down their memories on SM and deleting the photo from the party (dance wala eps 1). Aisha called Virat, and he took time to answer. Aisha told him that he was ignoring her, he denied and she said let's call it quit. Hangs up. He got mad and driving, unconsciously reached Anu's house. He called back Aisha but not on purpose (in his mind he was calling Anu), and they decided to meet. After the call, he said "I hate you, Anushka" Again, Anu leaving her phone, cried.

The next day, at the firm, a fight between Rubina/ Rumina (I haven't gotten her name to date, the girl under Virat). Rubi initiated it by saying, it's not the end of the world and blablabla. Ankita respond. Then, Rubi provoked Ankita by adding you are from a small town that's why you're narrow-minded. Almost catfight! Harsh grabbed Ankita and someone else Rubi to stop them. In the middle, they were arguing and then Rubi revealed the information about Virat handling the Mehta case too. Ankita hugged Rubi saying thank you, love you so much and Kavi arrived to ask what the hell was going on when Harsh said love was in the air, to save the situation.

Sweet talks between Anu & Sid. He was surprised about her accepting to meet some guys and asked about it. She says it's just a yes for meeting not for wedding...She is happy to be back home and so is he. He missed her so much.

She enters the guest house and finds Virat romancing Aisha. Virat tries to explain to Aisha but she leaves saying to explain to her (Anu). Anu approached him to confront him (precap*promo scene Shaitan wala).

Anu fiercely, "I know what you wanted, Virat! After three years you thought I'd forget everything and melt again. I should forget about myself again. I should hold your hands and make you sit on my Dad's chair. You fall, I should be there, you're upset, I should cheer you up...but everything from a distance, because if I come closer, I'm afraid that you will feel insecure...should think of your fragile male ego to not be hurt...not stay behind if I become the boss...with the feeling of an outsider in your heart, you shouldn't be behind. In short, to show that you're big and I should stay small." Virat couldn't say anything. Then after a deep breath, she continued "Virat, I fought everyone for you, not because I loved you but because I believed in you. I thought you had a goodness, a truth only visible to me, that you hidden behind a mask, that caring and compassionate side of you...And I was adamant to show that face to the world, but I was wrong, you proved me wrong. She threw the guest house key and left. Virat sat down stunned.

Late at night, office, Ankita went to search for clues in Virat's cabin. The latter scared her making an entry, but he was drunk. He began to blame himself and talk about Anu. "...I hate myself. In my life, people would give me everything abundantly and I would reject them. Arya was right, no one could love me more than Anu. Anu! She has a big heart. I don't deserve her. A moment later, Ankita with the chair scene with Harsh calling her Ankita Raisinghani.
