Pandit tells Pratima to do arti on her brother, she thinks to herself that even Rudhara should do this but I will do it on her behalf. Bua asks why did you do arti 2 times, she says because I didn't do it good first time. Dada says go get Rudahra she do arti to.
Rudhara is looking at a necklace, and begins to think about the marriage. Rudhara begins to cry thinking of what maa said. She suddenly hears the barat music and looks outside.
And the girls home, her mom is giving her jewelry. The father says todays the biggest day of your life I hope you always stay happy. They will get richer when my daughter comes. Dada calls them that the barat has left.
In the barat everyone is dancing and is happy. Dada walks around and notices that Rudhara is not here. He asks around but no one knows. Dada starts yelling stop this! No one cares that Rudhara is not here! Everyone is dancing and does not care is she is not here. He asks Pratima to tell the truth. She says say I saw her come in the barat I think she left in some car. Dada begins to panic. He tells bumkin to call home to check if she is there. The phone is dead. Dada leaves, maa tells him to wait. He stops, she says you don't have to go anywhere because of Rudhara. Dada says u still don't understand. She says Rudhara is at home, I told her she cant come here. I have stopped her. Dada says what did you say, maa says the thing you just heard. How dare you tell her that. She says what else could I do she always insults my sons. Dada says that because of this idiot u punished she so severely. Today you have insulted me! I am ashmed today, after all these years this is the relation I formed with theses people. You will go home and bring Rudhara yourself. Maa says I wont do that. Dada says, fine the barat will not go ahead but will go back. Bumkin says, Baba how can you insult maa like this. Dada says, your mom has cursed this day. She has insulted Rudhara very badly she will do what I tell her today. Maa leaves, everyone is staring at her.
Dai maa is consoling Rudhara. Rduahra says I just wanted to go to my brothers wedding am I that bad. Dai maa says this is the time to make yourself stronger. They did not even let me go to bumkins wedding, but this time what have I done wrong.
The girls father calls bumkin, but he does not pick up. They wonder why the barat has not come yet. Bumkin picks up the sec. time. They ask why has the barat not come yet. Bumkin says that the car broke time we will come soon.
Rudhara is still crying. She says please can someone tell me what is my mistake. Maa is listening in the back.
