Why didn't Raj just go for a different disguise?

So, the leads from another show have been in the same situation as RajPreet twice now. FL was ML's best 'male' friend and then she was exposed and blah blah blah. Right now, FL is angry at ML and has gone back to her maternal home. ML is visiting her in disguise. He's pretending to be a Sikh, and FL doesn't recognise him even though the only difference is that he wears a turban now. If we had to have our current track, why couldn't we just have Raj pretend to be a Sikh? It's not like anyone would actually recognise him. At least he wouldn't look so gross.

If Raj went in as some random guy, he wouldn't be allowed to share rooms with Preet.

Oh, that's true. But then again, room sharing isn't necessary. They could have tweaked the storyline a little.

And today they showed Promila catching Preet who was about to fall. It was disgusting beyond words.

This one was absolutely obnoxious.
But as I said, it was real quick. They didn't get too carried away. If it had lasted 10s longer, I would have puked!

From the looks of things, not much longer. The most recent TB article states that Akshay Dogra was called back to the show due to low TRPs. I'm pretty sure this soap will finish by the end of this year.
