Most likely. I think it's all because TRPs are submissive women and therefore can only relate to submissive women.

As for changing the surname, I have not yet decided. I am in two minds. But I might just change my name coz I don't need a name to define myself. The girl behind the name would still be the same. My work would still be the same. And my work will be my identity.

Well, my religion does not permit me to take my husband's name. So that's that.

Oh! Do you mean that taking your husband's name as in saying it or adopting it as your last name.

My religion and culture has it that a girl's, not just surname but also her first name is changed in some cases. Previously most cases but now it has reduced.

Well, due to sect issues, some say taking the husband's surname is not allowed and some say it's disliked.

I think it's reasonable. I mean husbands can be replaced; is a woman meant to change her surname every time?
My whole name - first and last - defines me. It's who I am. I'm still the same person whether or not I'm married so why change the name?
At the end of the day, it's a personal choice.

But wow. I can't believe some women have to change their first names as well after marriage. Can't imagine that.

I agree with you guys I also refused to changed my name. Why should be always do the sacrifice in our marriage first we leave our parents and siblings behind and then we are asked to leave our names behind as well I did not even think twice before saying no. Thank God my husband also agreed.
