Raj was going to confront preet then and there but the doctor told that amrit conditions is not that good. And they should look to it that she never gets upset ( sadma) or her condition will worsen . So amrit doesn't know anything about it

What is the point of this promise? Yes, Raj may never separate from Preet, but that won't stop him from abusing, manhandling, humiliating, cheating, taking a second wife e.t.c.
