Kul’s whole approach

Hello everyone......posting here after a long time.
I was dreading this and it did end up happening.Ever since Kanhaiya was introduced I was worried that he would do something like this.
Im sorely disappointed with what the writers have done with Kul's character. Her daughter was raped but I coulnt see the shock, the horror,the desperation that a mother would feel at such a thing.....she just cried. I mean it was as if she was consoling Tanya for a small thing...when it isnt...its a damn huge thing.
The first thing she thought about was Trishna's marriage.Did she even think for a second about how Tanya's future is going to be?...forget future did she think how Tanya will deal with this tragedy that struck her.Like for godsake's woman forget about that damn marriage and look at that poor girl's condition......The only person who can console Tanya is Kul and Kul herself is asking her not to talk about this to anyone ......It really makes me sad to even imagine how Tanya must have felt hearing that. And on top of that she's hiding this from Kohli. He and the other daughters are going to be so furious with Kul when they find out.
Shalini's performance was absolutely brilliant........the emotions she portrayed actually chilled me.
At this point I dont want Kanhaiya dead...I want him to be tortured for the rest of his life just like he tortured Tanya.
Tanya is my fav among all of them.Though these things do happen in reality,there wasnt any need for this rape in the story right now......Its obvious that sumhow Yuvraj will end up marrying her but frankly I dont want that....Tanya being the shy quiet girl that she is, she could have been given a very interesting love story of her own.
Like i said,its very disappointing.

Amazing post, and yeah u are right. Kul's character is simply butchered. U are right she only cried, she didnt cared of her future or even of what she's feeling now. All she cares about is about Trishna getting married to A rich man.

I hate the way they are showing a mother, because a mother thinks of their children happiness first. If they are hurted, the mothers feel their pain also. Whereas Kul isnt representating all this.

i totally agree with u wht u said... but there is another side of this situation like the society in which they r living...

there r two situations kul would have reacted... first she would have told whole family and went to the police station and the second one which she reacted..
let us consider if she would have gone to police station then wht would have happened... kanhiya already bribed inspector then there is no way he would have taken the action against kanhiya..

i agree with u tht it was not the right thing to show this rape just to make yuv-tanya pair but creatives r creatives they can even worsen up the situation...
