Vasudha is thinking that her dad did not even give her enough time to mourn his death. After the ceremony, Sushant leaves; Vasu stares after him for a while. Then she is about to go to her room when Vedika stops her. She says she has no right to remain in the house as she is their father's killer. And if she didn't kill him, who did? Why doesn't she tell them? Vasu is silent. Naina watches all this and feels she is hiding something. Vasu denies killing him but Vedika asks the other family members to speak up, whether they thought she had killed him or not. They walk away silently.
Vedika gets enraged, she drags Vasu and throws her out of the house, shutting the door. Vasu keeps knocking and begging her not to let her out. (Why does she have to be such a wimp??đĄ)

But now she is undoing his wrong; on the day of his chautha she threw his illegal daughter out. Vasu enters and says she has no legal authority to throw anyone out; in fact Vasu, having the power of attorney, can throw Ved out if she wishes, but relationships are not maintained like this. She shows her another document according to which, if she is not able to restore their relations by Diwali, the Rai SInghania property will all go to Vedika. Ved insists that she will win this battle. They stare at each other.
