Is Vasu’s bitterness 4 Sushant justified?

Hello Everyone!

Is anyone able to relate to Vasudha😕? How did the sweet natured woman turn into such a vengeful individual especially towards that man who has been the only unconditional relationship in her life😕? I agree that Sushant's choice of words weren't the best when Vasudha came to meet him…. but he wasn't wrong in reacting the way he did… why doesn't he have the right to feel betrayed and hurt at Vasudha breaking their engagement & accussing him of being disloyal to his employer and I dare add her words were far more harsh and in bad taste than Sushant's words.

I find Vasudha's stand towards Sushant absolutely absurd😭…. Esp in contrast to the sympathy or whatever concern she feels towards DRS and Dainik Darpan which are the root cause of all her misery!

Before she accuses Sushant of breaking their most valued relationship or for that matter saying the 6 years of their relationship was a hogwash…she should have a reality check herself.

• Who stood by her all these years because she wanted to wait for DRS's consent to their relationship despite knowing DRS will NEVER consent to the relationship?
• Who fought DRS every single day to protect their relationship?
• Who hid the humiliations he faced everyday by DRS so that he doesn't hurt Vasudha?
• Who almost lost his life due to DRS's evil intensions yet maintained silence cause he didn't want to shatter Vasudha's image of her ideal father?
• Who stood by her mother protecting her from the DRS? If Sushant hadn't shielded Shalini, DRS would have killed Shalini and there wouldn't have been a trace of a Shalini Malhotra ever existing! Who bailed out Shalini when she had got arrested? She could have easily been harassed by the police if Sushant hadn't warned the inspector against it.
• And didn't she taunt Sushant of looking out for scoop when Vedant was arrested when he was trying to prove him innocent. And her ego prevented her from saying sorry also…and later also pointed out that his ideologies clashed with her relationships and she lost… to do away with her insecurity, Sushant presented her a ring. What did ma'am do when Sushant's mother spoke against her relationship without the consent of Sushant she broke their relationship and walked away… it was again Sushant who held their relationship from breaking apart.
• Time and again it has been her who has kept mentioning their relationship has to be broken and it was she who broke it in the end! Did she give Sushant a chance to tell his side of the story before she threw the decision of breaking the engagement at him? Then how justified is she to hold his hurt and fury against him?
• And she seems to have forgotten her intentions before she went to meet Sushant at Devyani's house. She wanted to just say 'Sorry' and go away never to interfere in his life again. Then why is she blaming Sushant for deserting her during the most crucial moment of her life… she wanted him to support her or just wanted to let him know she was sorry?

I agree that Vasudha was the one who was the most affected by the turn of events that day… but that still doesn't justify why Sushant cant express his anger and hurt towards her & and why Vasudha not understanding his pain and hurt justified

I have been noticing the way Vasudha and Vedant are behaving with Sushant post the breakup. They look at him as an outsider and then expect him to be at their disposal whenever they are in misery😡. But when he steps into help he is taunted off as being an outsider or being just the employee of their business😡. WHAT do they want Sushant to do😕?

And today was a limit to Vasudha's stonehearted behaviour towards Sushant. If not towards Sushant she had some obligation towards Uttara. If it wasn't for Uttara who would have taken care of Shalini all these years? Uttara has taken care of Shalini for 30 years now and how much of compromise Uttara has made to take care of Shalini and fight for her justice including having left her husband, leading a life of a Widow and lying to her own son. That lady calls up Vasudha to help her son not as his (ex) fianc but as his employer and she refuses even without hesitation? Does she any sense of gratitude or not?

I am getting more convinced that she is indeed the Next Direndra Rai Singhania in the making… and I dare say if this negativity isnt checked she might be even more disastrous than DRS because atleast DRS had a sense of right and wrong and did the wrong knowing it was wrong… Vasudha doesn't even seem to know what is right and what is wrong!

I would have understood if Vasudha had severed all her ties with her past, her family and Sushant and moved on… but NO, she comes back to save the empire knowing very well that a lot of blood including Her grandfather's, Mother's and Sushant has been shed to build that empire😕. She is back home aswell with no much persuasion from Vedanth's side… all it took for Vedant was to assure her that her Mom is welcome into the house and Ma'am landed up the same day. She can come home and stay with the man who destroyed her and her mother's life and save his empire… but cant understand the momentary, anguished outburst of a drunken man whose engagement broken less than 24 hours ago😕? That tells a lot about Vasudha's sense of judgment and today's episode just highlighted how unfair and mean she has turned to. Nothing can justify the way she is treating Sushant these days. And I do agree with what Devyani told today that so much hatred towards Sushant will leave her with no one who genuinely loves her.

No matter how much I try to understand Vasudha, I fail to… and I really don't know where this is all going to end. Vasudha's new persona is too confusing to even try to relate to her. DRS would have been a proud man today to see how heartless his daughter has turned into…but I bet even he isn't happy because he is repenting for all the sins he has done.

I really wish Vasudha does realize that Sushant is probably the only relationship that can stop her from destroying herself before it is too late. I have no idea till when Sushant will have the patience to endure her stubborn ego esp knowing how impatient and self respecting he is and she has been constantly targetting his self respect. I really hope Vasudha gives herself, their relationship and life itself another chance.

I would love to hear ur views on Vasudha's new persona and where Sushant and Vasudha's relationship stands now.

Very very very well said👏👏!!! I agree with each and every thing you have said....I dont think Vasudha's character can be defined in a better way! You have covered all the aspects and I'm sure every one on the forum feels the same way! I personally believe that Vasudha's character has been ruined without any solid justification.....that's quite sad....people endure so much more in life and still they have their optimism within them ....but honestly, Vasudha behaves as if her whole world has crashed. I know her belief in her father shattered, but why is she punishing her family and Sushant for her father's crimes??? I think they should have shown Vasudha dealing with her problems in a better way....Vasudha has become a stone now and if she continues being this way, then very soon she's going to turn into her father! I dont think anyone can relate to her character...sadly, her character has gone down the drain!

How come Vasudha is not realizing that her mother is alive only due to Sushant and Sushant's mom's help. Uttara took such a good care of Shalini and Vasudha is not ready to pay her back by saving Sushant.

Sushant should leave this job and move forward with his life.

Vasudha's character will not gain any sympathy from viewers and definitely she will follow her father's footsteps in her war with Sinha.

she needs to grow up

👏 👏 👏 this is for writing the feelings that most of us have about Vasu/Sushant situation into a beautiful and well-written post
It felt toooo good..

Shes already turning to her father...will love the person if he/she acts exactly as she wants and be a hand puppet..
She has come back to her house but cant forgive Sushant..


He got stabbed,verbally abused,insulted by even younger members of her family for her and still wanted to protect and safe guard her feelings..
One mistake and he is worthless....

I feel pity for Vasu's condition in reagards with her father but the chapter of Sushant and the way he is treated is going just too out of hand...

Vasudha is behaving so unreasonably that the character has lost all touch with reality and her behavior makes me laugh ...

vasudha is not at all greatful to Uttara who kept her mother and protected like a child,at present she ats as if she is the only one concerned about her.I don't know what makes me think that her relationship with sushant was totaly on her terms and condition.

vedant is also acting like her sister ,didn't he realize that it was him who handae Sinha's file to DRS,the root of problem between vasu and sushant.

👏excellent writing and i fully agree with whatever u said. i hv also expressed my disapproval on vasu's attitude in many previous strings. anyway, u hv covered everything and they r very true.

what right vasu has to blame sushant when she herself threw away the ring.

i was feeling really bad when vasu was saying that from now on they will meet as boss and employee. sushant was remembering that DRS said the same thing to sushant. it is really sad to know that DRS is ultimately successful in his goal, he wanted sushant out of vasu's life and that is what has happened. i guess smiriti is influenced by k-soaps where always evil triumphs.

day in and out sushant was being humiliated by DRS, but a self respect man like sushant tolerated everything only because he loved vasu. DRS many times insulted sushant in front of vasu but in a subtle manner. in the 2nd episode when sushant wanted to talk to him, he asked if he shud raise his salary. then on the day of engagement everyone cud see that DRS did not bless sushant except vasu. Now, all these ignorance i cud understand if vasu was shown as stupid person, but she is supposed to be intelligent.

and whatever uttara and sushant has done for shalini, how can vasu forget that. today shalini is alive only for them. uttara sacrificed her entire life to protect shalini, and later on sushant protected shalini from the eyes of DRS. all these hv been returned by vasu with a mere"thank you". this is the height of ungratefulness.

as for vedant, it was sushant who fought for him knowing that vasu is angry. sushant has always showered his love and protection to vasu's siblings, just as a jiju shud do.

several times when vasu has misunderstood sushant, it was always sushant who went on his knees to mend the relationship. when uttara refused to accept her, she did not hesitate to walk away and the next day it was sushant who presented her a ring to mollify her.

again when he returned from kanpur, vasu was all set to end everything and there also sushant went with a rose to appease her. i still remember the scene. he went on his knees to say sorry and said that he will be destroyed if vasu breaks relationship. he even said that he cant ever bear vasu saying sorry to him, but he is always there to apologise at the drop of a hat. we all know how hard this is for a self respect man, but for sushant, his love for vasu comes before everything.

i never remember an instance where vasu said sorry to him whereas everytime she is the one who misunderstands sushant and not vice versa.

and vedant, wat right does he hv to behave such badly with sushant. sushant who always went out of the way to help them, today has no right to interfer in their lives???

sushant was always just a reporter. then how come vasu dated him for 6 years, how come she got engaged to him, and today she remembers that he is just an employee. how convenienly she changes her feelings without thinking for a second how much the other person is hurt.

vasu said to sinha that DRS's blood in flowing in her. how true she is. she is as cold and heartless as her father. she is doing exactly the same thing as DRS did with devyani.
