It is not Smriti but the Indian audience who are responsible for bad TRPs for Virrudh. People are obsessed with the never ending saas-bahu serials in other channels and they fail to appreciate good scripts, excellent acting and different type of storylines which are closer to reality. I just can't believe how can a stupid show like Ek Ladki Anjaani Si (after it completely deviated from its original plot) get better TRPs and as a result Sony wants to drag it on. The TRP system should be ignored completely, otherwise there won't be any good shows on TV. We crave for serials like Virrudh and Nina Gupta's Saans.

I agree with you 101% ELAS is still going on when it has deviated from the original tracl long back and the story has changed so much. Virrudh has great potential in it to be one of the biggest hits on tv but the audience are like to see manipulative character plot and scheme and get away with it! Virrudh is just so different..............

I agree with you completely, somewhere we are all responsible for promoting mediocrity in our soaps. I don't know how people even sit through the Kekta serials; they are an insult to anyone's intelligence.😡

Even JHJL had a great plot; but the channel axed it prematurely because of this TRP business and it was all wrapped up in a hurry.😭 What happened to the Sony of JJKN, YMLH (in its early days) and Rihaee?

The show is brillant but Sony need to be more creative, not the producers!! They hardly advertise anything but Indian Idol and thir adverts aren't attention grabbing.

I think Virrudh is an Awesome drama and viewers are responsible for the TRPs the plots are wonderful and yeah ppl still watching dramas tht have NO plots unlike Virrudh,

And i cant wait for the Twists in this Drama.

I agree...First of all this show is just superb in all departments.....exactly
Sony needs to be agressive in their marketing department..not the
production company...it's entirely the channels fault if the show did not get
the veiwers it deserved...blaming the producers is like the channel coping
out of their own responsibility...the channel has to market this show...and
Sony should be proud that they have could become a trendsetter channel if
they continue with this show...its like you have summed up simply
brilliant...if Sony cannot market their own product then its a shame...
