I'll admit, initially I chose this song because it was so beautiful but then I started looking at the lyrics. I have always loved the metaphor used in this song, but this time I realised how apt it was especially for AsYa's current situation. With ArHi this song was about their love however, just like with AsYa, I had always felt their love story began with Arnav's intense attraction to Khushi. Asad is attracted to Zoya, as he admitted yesterday; there is a connection between the two of them that is not yet love. They 'like' one another but neither has tried to address their feelings & they're not at that stage yet so I'm glad that they're not prematurely confessing their love for one another. There are many stages of love & there is yet a lot for AsYa to embark on together before they realise and admit they're in love.

The scenes I have used as the main portion of my VM (both for ArHi & AsYa) were those of attraction with glimpses of the love between them thrown in. Obviously, there is more love with Arnav & Khushi's scenes as their love story is complete. It almost proves just how far AsYa have to go to reach that stage.

Also, let's not forget the song is about the intoxication that love brings with it; the attraction, the junoon, the intensity & power behind this emotion. I had initially used voiceovers but then decided that they detract from the song & the lyrics. The song isn't entirely about the love a man has for a woman; it is applicable to many situations & is really just about the incredible emotion that we call love, pyaar, mohabbat, ishq. I hope you enjoy this VM as much as I enjoyed making it.
