There are tales of a confrontation between Shani Deva and Hanuman but it wasn't a first fight. Shani wanted exert his influence on Hanuman but couldn't. The account of what exactly happened varies a lot but it was asking to someone running into a wall and walking away limping and these tales state that Shani Deva promised not to harm Hanuman or his devotees after that. The incident happened well after the war and definitely not during Hanuman's childhood.

As for Ghaghra boy... haven't seen/detected him so far. It certainly is possible that he has appeared as a random asura or vanara... Or Deva...? By the way, does anyone know his real name?

What they show now is prettymuch nonsense

There are some stories of Shani Deva trying to posses Hanuman to exert his influence but was unable to do so. Badly beaten (not because of a first fight but Shani Deva somehow gets hurt trying to exert his influence) Shani Deva leaves and promises never to catch Hanuman or his devotees. A similar storyline was depicted in the previous show (Sankat Mochan), I think the first episode...

just saw the latest episode..nothing special...hanuman vows to complete anjana's sacrifice & declares disguised shanidev as an imposterprecap is still funny...swastik making shani dev just like an asur...

By the way... it seems like Shani Deva from this series is wearing the same accessories as Hanuman from Shrimad Ramayan... and Shathrugana's crown with blue replacing the red stones.
