Veer Hanuman: Episode Discussion Thread - Page 15

I happened to watch yesterday's episode fully.

Storyline is quite similar to Luv Kush adventures.

Hanuman saves Nala from and asura and then saves Kesari as well.

Mayavi Kesari vs Real Kesari fight choreo was good.

Elsa-Vali does a good job infuriating everyone.

Sugreeva has been hit by a falling fire rock and has fainted.

Shani Deva seems to convince some asura about something... Totally lost that bit, went above my head...

The promo still teases a show down between Hanuman and Shani Deva.

Still daily multiple promos of shani dev getting beaten up by Hanuman is there

Wanted to reply earlier but IF was stuck for some reason and didn't load at all...

I am watching on and off. The current storyline is anything but Ramayan... We just have same character names... At times I am not sure who is more infuriating - Elsa Vali or Hanuman (a close contestant is Anjana). Dadhimuka is so twisted, he acts like Sahasra with his manipulation.

And I still have no clue what exactly Shani Deva is doing here...

I did manage to watch a couple of recent episodes... So, currently Hanuman came face to face with Shani Deva who dissolved his disguise and showed himself. I think he sends Hanuman to Kesari saying the latter is in danger. Hanuman leaves but swears to return and finish the showdown between them both. Elsewhere Kesari is in search of a book that was supposed to be under his protection since he is the chief general of Kishkinda. The book has been stolen by an asura under Shani Deva's instigation. Dadhimuka tries to manipulate vanaras into turning against Kesari's family, especially Hanuman, while pretending to support them and reason out with people. Vali is trying to do the same. For some reason, Kesari's soul has disappeared and someone says there's no chance he will return. Maruti being his bratty self says very haughtily that he will bring back his father no matter what. Anjana intervenes and declares all has happened because of her and she will leave and Kesari will be back. Frankly, I am tired of Anjana's dramatics... They have such a good actress playing the role... If only the story was decent... Same can be said about Hanuman and the rest of the cast...

Don't know if others felt it or not but I have a feeling since long long time watching Swastik shows. They go into a lot and lot of Preachy BS. And that relates to the current situation of India.

Happened in RK, Then SMR and now Veer Hanuman.

For example that Alarm sound in some episode of the Asur attack.

I always felt it.

I always felt it.

The problem is that the preachy stuff is of no help. If they're guiding people on the right path it could be acceptable. All they do is turn our beloved gods into daily soap daughters-in-law, a person who has to do everything, everyone around is useless, everyone would take advantage of this person/character, even those closest will stand against but the character would always understand with a smile. Bad guys will always get their way, good ones will always suffer, forgive and understand and kids will always be disrespectful and bratty and this will be considered awesome. What it relates to is what everyone goes through everyday.

For me, personally, I tend to watch religious and historical shows for the costumes and also for the different scenarios it will portray, to escape daily nonsensical life. But these days, the shows are made 'relatable' by forcing in current day scenarios which is not different from what we see around us. It's downright cumbersome to watch. There's so much they can do with the current advancements in technology but what they choose to do is rip apart everyone we know from the scriptures.

That's totally what it is...

Sad...

They have a good cast but messed up so bad with the writing...
