Okay so someone calculated that from the beginning of the show till now, Anupama's age should be 85+, but the show is still going on about her romantic saga

That was what I meant by 'Anupama treatment'. DB's age should be 80+, but apparently he is in his 60's

Anupama is 85? I thought that the show didn't have any generation leaps.....wtf?

KUDCA was the same , the female leads were only 15 and 18 when the show premiered

Anupama and Vanraj were married for 25 years when the show started. Assuming she got married at 18 itself, she should be 43 years of age. Uske baad inhone itne saare leaps liye hai that logically, her age must have been soaring through 80's.

Why do production houses do this?! Like children under 18 should not be romantically involved with adults, not even in a fictional serial.

If they are that desperate to show romance, then they should pick actors of the same age. As simple as that.
