Yes. People do claim credit for story as a whole and music.

There are multiple Bollywood movies made by lifting different scenes and no one can do anything.

For ex two famous movies have many scenes lifted.

Sholay has a lot of scenes lifted from Hollywood movies.

Mohobbatein has a lot of scenes copied/inspired from the movie 'Dead Poets society'.

Aur TV shows me movies ka scenes uthana is very very common.

One example I remember is that burning scene and subsequents from Vivah movie was lifted by some Zee tv show.

This show promos were everywhere but it never went on air.

Before covid some show on star bharat never went on air after a lot of promos. it was the usual stuff of some bahu.

This reminds me , even EMHSK was supposed to get a remake in 2009 but it never happened

LOL. because we used to watch imagine a lot. When whole family used to watch tv before phone/ott era , whenever a new channel was launched we watched it a lot. NDTV Imagine, Colors, Life Ok etc. After few years everyone diverted and all got busy in their life.

This we remembered because Jay soni was very famous in those days due to baa bahoo baby and PRC. So this was a much awaited show. Also Ankita was a cinestars ki khoj contestant so people knew her.

Imagine was anyways a small channel so maybe there were some issues. It was shut down in 2012 due to launch of colors and life ok.

Infact Navya (By Swastik ) on SP in 2011 was more or less based on same concept (sweet innocent college/school love story) but for whatever reasons it was destroyed. The show was about to be finished in just few months but there was a huge social media campaign to save the show and continue it. channel agreed but gave it early evening slot and swastik showed stupid random story. Couldnt last much and was eventually finished in few months.

And honestly Jerkmanyu never walked away from akshara .He was always stalking her (social media called it doing dola re dola ) even when he was about to get married to arohi so this promo never happened in real.

And mimi never had such talk with akshara, it was always manish ( the grandfather)

Jay Soni's role in BBB was good....he nailed the role of Jigar ; guy facing mental torture from his toxic dad

I remember Navya....that FL used to cry in every episode....my sister and cousins were mad about that show ( due to that ML i guess )

Maybe they shot the episode but scrapped it cause it was out of character for Abhimanyu

Also to add to this, all the protest against channels and demand for a new season/story/track started from here. Navya fans succeeded in getting their demands so everyone tries.

This reminds me even IPKKND changed tracks due to protest. When Barun got a movie and decided to leave TV, PH decided to have a new ML and kill off Barun character. The new actor was Viraf Firoz Patel.

But the craze that IPKKND had acheived till that time never allwed the PH to hvae his wish. Fans everywhere protested so so much for this that we dont want a new actor, convince barun or end the show.

The channel had no option but to end the show. Infact during the ending episodes they showed a message that Barun wants to have a career in films so he is leaving the show and therefore we are ending it.
