In precap when Yuvika said abt Geeta ka saar DB looked impressed wid her so i think he might support her seeing the qualities of heir.

Yes but they are repeatedly mentioning the Guruji

Yesterday too DB says that Prabhu Krishna ki Kripa aur Guruji k ashiwaad se poora parivar saath hai

Seems that Guruji plays an important role in their lives just like Drona

I disagree about this part. I know foreign show are made much better than Indian shows but not everything has to be foreign inspired. Some where I read it's Korean inspired. Mahabharat is much much older than all these and there are multiple versions of it available. It might even be that these foreign shows have mahabharat elements. This show has clear resemblance with Mahabharat. Obviously you can't show everything that's there because of the limit of modern world.

The character of vanshaj are loosely based on Mahabharata but the plotline is inspired/based/copy (whatever you want to call) from succession of HBO.

Mahabharat is much more than the battle for power.

Definitely they would be taking only a part of Mahabharata

No one can make the entire Mahabharata

Saying that yes even I had read it's based on Succession, but the projection is completely Mahabharata style

Not Drona then.. he can be Kripacharya..coz Guru Drona was guru of Kuru clan kids but here guru cant give them knowledge of business na so he can be in resemblence wid Kripacharya i think.

But definitely Dronacharya is more important than Kripacharya in Mahabharata. So I wonder if they would have an equivalent to Kripa but not Drona..

Because maybe not knowledge of Business but he can give life lessons. But again that's just my thought

The characters are blend/mish-mash of Mahabharata's characters.

For eg: yuvika is a blend of draupadi and abhimanyu. Her determination and courage to stand up for herself and involving in so-called male-driven aspects are based on draupadi's character arc. Since she is trying to understand Mahajans and mystery related to her father's are based on abhimanyu who was trying to solve chakravyuh.

I think vidur's son will be blend of Krishna(who's not Mahajan but know Mahajan well) , draupadi (have a rebelliousness side, also an outsider) and Karan (he is technically the son of someone beneath Mahajan's status, which may create friction with him). But again,all these are assumption, we have to wait what's in store.

Also I may be wrong but DJ is way too weak to be Duryodhan. Main villian needs to be more strong. Here he looks lame
