I have been very busy trying to defend my position and comments to other people about Poo-Karthik-Sara triangle and the Vani Rani team that I forgot the fulcrum on which the serial moves - Radhikaa.
Today they are showing the episode where Vani goes to the hotel to ask Swamy take Rani back (we are a week behind). As I had already watched it in youtube, I was in the computer room doing my work and browsing the net. I could still hear the dialogues though as the living room is the adjoining room. And at the end of the 20 mins, my eyes were tearing up and my heart was heavy. All because of this lady.
Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous.
Just listening to her voice, the intonations, the breaks, the different accents - I could differentiate who was talking - whether it was Vani or Rani. I could feel the pain, the hurt, the tears in Vani's voice.I could sense her bewilderment. I could feel her crying. And I could sense the quiet outrage in Rani's voice, the calm acceptance of her situation, the reassuring of her sister. I am blown away. All this and then the background music had me slobbering like a Hell's Angel biker watching Bambi. And I wasnt watching the episode.
This episode made me realise that I really dont care whether Poo runs away with Saravanan or Karthik jumps off a cliff or Gautham and Karuppu become fellow Rotarians.. 😉 😆
I have never given her full acknowledgement before but to me she is like a bottle of wine, improving with age. I would put her in the same category as the classic British actors, Dame Maggie Smith and Dame Judi Dench.
Here's to you, madam. You are indeed the Queen of the Silver Screen.
