Although happy, Vaidehi is apprehensive about getting married to one of the richest men in the country. However, once she meets Aryavardhan, her prospective groom, she is swept off her feet by his looks and charm. They get married in true fairy tale style and with stars in her eyes and dreams in her heart, she enters the corridors of the Jaisingh mansion, where away from her knowledge lays a dark secret. On her wedding night itself, she realises that the wedding was a faade. It was not in any way a fairy tale ending but the beginning of a nightmare. Soon Vaidehi finds herself trapped in the marriage. Caught in an unusual situation, young Vaidehi realises that she needs the spirit to fight back. What the Jaisinghs' did not anticipate is Vaidehi's strength and determination to fight back. The story continues from there on how Vaidehi faces life alone in the big mansion, with strangers all around her. |
