CHAPTER 5: MOTHER AND DAUGHTER, LOVE AND HATE :

PART 1: Anticipation:

Meethi was biting her nails so much that she could almost feel pain...she was so impatient, so scared..and yet very excited to meet her mother. At the same time she heard the sound of a car pulling in her driveway. "OMG, its true, im finally meeting my mother" thought Meethi to herself, and ran towards the door!
Out got Ichcha from the car and her eyes searched only for a single thing, her daughter...at the same time she looked towards the door, and faintly she saw someone half walking, half running towards the door. When she could see the person clearly, she was shell shocked! And so was Meethi who saw her mother for the first time! Ichcha felt as though she was seeing herself 20 years ago, and Meethi felt like she was seeing herself 20 years later. Both of them stunned, unable to move, unable to speak a word.
"Shocked, aren't you mayya?" asked Kanha, and Damini shushed him, she wanted the mother and daughter to be undisturbed.
Ichcha walked towards the door slowly, and an inexpressible feeling of emotions coursed through her. She felt like she had got a part of her life back, and looking at her beautiful daughter made her ache for the years she had lost earlier.
Meethi was transfixed, she wasn't able to move a single limb, because she felt as though she was dreaming.
Ichcha reached out to Meethi, and suddenly, like a bulb being switched on, all the fears, all the doubts on Meethi's mind vanished and she ran and fell onto her mother's arms. It felt so natural, and why shouldn't it feel natural, she thought. After all, she was her mother.
Ichcha too felt the same way, hugging her daughter, her own flesh and soul seemed so natural, and it was a wonderful moment for both of them.
But after a few secs, Ichcha started cringing. What will my daughter think abt me? The fear came back to her again.
Meethi sensed that something changed, and looked at Ichcha with a glowing smile and said "Maa, won't you call your daughter with the name you kept for her? Ive been waiting for 18 years maa...for u to call me, talk to me, hug me, scold me, and share everything with me.Im so glad that this moment has finally come! And please let me tell you one more thing. Whatever happened in the past, means nothing to me. You are one wonderful woman who has sacrificed everything in life to keep others happy. Now its ur turn to be happy, and il make sure that you are happy, with ur beti, with ur Meethi"

Instantly Ichcha's fears were wiped aside, and all she could feel was her overwhelming love for her daughter! "Meri beti..." she said and kissed her daughter on her forehead. "Meethi...meri pyaari beti..ive been waiting forever for this moment.." and she started crying. Meethi too unable to cope up with her emotions, started crying, and they hugged each other...trying to make up for their lost moments..and finally glad that they were back together...after a long time...

Part 2: The younger generation meets ( This is for all the Yukta lovers out there 😊 )

Mukta was super tensed, as she was waiting outside the conference room. This presidency was extremely important to her, and it would add a lot to her resume...and she had worked hard to get selected to the final round.
Right next to her was a girl who was talking over the phone...and Mukta couldn't help but hear her, as she was sitting very close.
"Its ok Priya didi, il talk to Yuvi and make sure that the issue gets settled, and hopefully things will be favourable for all of us" said that girl.

"Yuvi?" Mukta thought, "Is this girl talking abt Yuvraj who's in the panel of judges? Why is she telling that everything will be favourable? Does that mean that he is going to support this girl already?" thought Mukta and later she felt that she was assuming stupid things and let the matter go.

After sometime, Yuvraj Singh Bundela entered, along with two other people who were going to select the President. As soon as Yuvi entered, the girl sitting beside Mukta walked up to Yuvi and took him aside, and they started speaking in hushed tones.
This increased the doubt on Mukta's mind. The judges aren't supposed to personally know the candidates, thought and she became grim. She needed this position desperately, and she would not allow any partiality to destroy her ambition. She knew that if she made a personal complaint about the judge favouring a candidate, then some action would be taken. She decided on what to do, and took her cellphone and dialled a number, and started speaking.

On the other side, Yuvi was talking to his ex-lover's cousin, who had sent a message to him. It seemed that she was leaving along with Vishal to meet some orphanage on her birthday, and donate something to the children there. She wanted others to help too, and hence sent her cousin to the college to see what Yuvi could do abt it. Yuvi was frustrated. "She knows that I will feel bad if I see her along with Vishal, then why is she calling me there? And my friends too? Why can't she call some of her friends" asked Yuvi, for which Priya's cousin said, "Priya wants to settle things peacefully between both of you, and she wants u to be friends with her, morever both of u have mutual friends, that's why she thought it would be nice if you all went together"

"Ok fine, tell her that I will come, and where is this orphanage?" asked Yuvi, for which the girl said, "Its in a remote, beautiful village in Kolkatta." Yuvi thanked the girl, and told her to inform Priya that he would come, for which the girl assured that she would, and she left the room. Yuvi realised that it was time to go to the conference hall, and started moving towards it, when he heard someone calling him from the speaker above. "Yuvraj, you are immediately wanted in the principal's office." Yuvi thought that it was something related to selection and he went towards the principal's office.
He knocked the door and went inside, and saw a girl sitting on a chair, he couldn't see her face as she was facing the principal, and he saw the principal, who had a grim and angry look on his face.

What's the next step of emotions between Ichcha and Meethi? How will Ichca behave when Meethi asks her about her father? And what will happen to Yuvraj? Wow I loved the scene between Ichchha and her daughter while reading it I had goosebumps all over me and I shivered fantasticaly defined the meeting of mother daughter first meet

absolutely loved the emotional scene it bouded me and twice I have had to read it bcoz it was so overwhlemingly emotional
