With this thinking apparently in progress, i am SO afraid to think of day when my child would share anything from his/her friends Lunch in school and then hv to bear the burden of taking UTTARAN.

I was not talking about general terms. My views are based on only Ichcha and Tapu's life right from the beginning of their friendship. What Ichcha had to go through beacause of being a servant's daughter and what Tapu had to go through bcoz of nani's influence in her life.

I know the meaning of love, friendship, give and take relationship, mutual help, affection, lunch, dinner, drinks etc I share these with people in my life all the time. And certainly we never use the word Uttaran in our relationships. Not even when we give food and clothes to our servants or beggars or other needy people.

Children, in either general or specific terms, is pathetic to be considered uttaran (even for a good cause).

i DO give my food and clothes to needy people, and I prefer to give them wholeheartedly instead of thinking as i m doing a favor on them. It's the Nature's call and the Duty of privileged to help less privileged..without thinking that if they cud ever pay it back to you.

IF You don't.. it's up to you. and though there is lot that can be said on this topic, but i don't want to discuss things on personal basis, neither i intend to discuss the show or it's characters.

my post was simply against that so acknowledged definition of uttaran and i still maintain that.
