Tapasya is some kind of character which I haven't understood till date. Sometimes she says something, sometimes something else, sometimes she deviates from the topic, sometimes she creates a dhol masala in this soap. Through this poll, I want to know the real character of tapasya. The real CC.

I dont think she is confused ... she is the most selfish self centered and cunning person ... she knows which side of her bread is buttered and piles on accordingly ...

All bashing aside I think she is the writer's failed attempt of a COMPLEX character.

She is a villain, or was a villain then I feel like the writers tried to redeem her, but realized she has done way too many despicable deeds to be redeemed. So they made her bad again. Now I feel like they are trying to redeem her again. For example they can just show her marry Rathod and wreck havoc in Veer's life every possible way. But what they are showing us is a struggling Tapasya. She thinks whenever the world wants her, they want her for the wrong reason. Usually villains don;t think like that. It is being shown that losing the baby is affecting her. And even now she seems lost in Veer's thoughts, and she is struggling. She is having a hard time letting go.

So I feel like even though it's obvious Tapasya is a grey character, the writers might be trying to give more depth to her character. It's just sad and lame that Indian tv show writers fail so miserably at such things. Complex characters are amazing when done right. I wish they would realize that and stop creating witches for villains and mahan idiot protagonists.
