I have written about this earlier.. But Scarlett never tried to murder anyone or was so mean and she never stooped sooo low as Taps. The only similarity is their obsession for a weak man and nothing else. She was living under the illusion that she loved the weak Ashley who loved only Melanie. She never realized the worth of Rhett Butler and when she realized that she loved him it was too late. Here also I am getting a feeling that Taps will lose Rathore also.

great minds think alike... anyways i meant the tappu after vansh episode...just the tappu rathod relationship...i mever meant to follow the characters very strictly...btw gotta go and read your post as well...thanx for sharing😃
i just hope that directors end this serial properly... i think satya will be instrumental in th e miscarriage as rathod foiled his plan of revenge...rathod will leave (hopefully for the time being) tappu will be thrown out and this time she will become a sanyaasi and reminisce about rathod as he was the only one person who loved only tappu then in the end rathod will come back to tappu.

Yes, I definitely see the comparison. Both characters are strong yet extremely ignorant about love at the same time. Technically, Scarlett did murder a man at a time, though for extremely different reasons. I appreciate Scarlett's character a lot more than Tapasya's because I find her much more ambitious than Tapasya, and she definitely has not gone as low as Taps has gone on many occasions. There certainly is a Rathod-Rhett similiarity as well.

@ Kruthika.N... Nice to see you interacting and giving your inputs...😊.

Scarlett killed a man as it was war time and it was survival of the fittest as otherwise that enemy soldier would have looted and killed her and burnt Tara, her home, the source of her strength, which was above all things for Scarlett. She did not kill anyone to possess Ashley Wilkes and do any of the low, mean things Tapasya has done, and so she is in no way comparable to her. She was not entirely selfish either, like Tapasya, as she took care of everyone in Tara with her hard work and determination, giving out strength and support during the very difficult war times. There is something to like and admire in Scarlett in spite of knowing her flaws, but there is nothing lovable in Tapasya.
Anyway Veer is definitely becoming very weak like Ashley and the old, justifiably angry Veer with fiery looks (with Vansh's suicide memories) when he sees Tapasya is missing and his role has become really pitiable and ridiculous.
Rathore, on the other hand, is very impressive and his role of the eternal saviour of Tapasya in spite of knowing her fully reminds us of some characteristics of Rhett Butler, but Rhett is awesome and I cannot compare him to Rathore.

u guys write so well👏👏
anyway i think the comparisons are striking..we have to kep in mind that gone with the wind is a classic and uttaran is a regular hindi soap..so the wash down effect to hona hi hai..
wot im most impressd abt is the fact that taps and rathod hv been able to live upto the comparison,,,woh bhi badi baat hai..
rashmi and gaurav are doing a fab job
