Scarlett killed a man as it was war time and it was survival of the fittest as otherwise that enemy soldier would have looted and killed her and burnt Tara, her home, the source of her strength, which was above all things for Scarlett. She did not kill anyone to possess Ashley Wilkes and do any of the low, mean things Tapasya has done, and so she is in no way comparable to her. She was not entirely selfish either, like Tapasya, as she took care of everyone in Tara with her hard work and determination, giving out strength and support during the very difficult war times. There is something to like and admire in Scarlett in spite of knowing her flaws, but there is nothing lovable in Tapasya.
Anyway Veer is definitely becoming very weak like Ashley and the old, justifiably angry Veer with fiery looks (with Vansh's suicide memories) when he sees Tapasya is missing and his role has become really pitiable and ridiculous.
Rathore, on the other hand, is very impressive and his role of the eternal saviour of Tapasya in spite of knowing her fully reminds us of some characteristics of Rhett Butler, but Rhett is awesome and I cannot compare him to Rathore.

Rhett certainly is one of a kind😳...
And the Veer-Ashley comparison is spot on as well. Although at the same time I can't compare Ichcha to Melanie. Ichcha is very much aware of Taps' obsession, and she has made many sacrifices for her sake. Melanie lived out her life never realizing the intensity of Scarlett's fatuation with Ashley.
