If Mai could have then she would have done so by now...but Mai is playing her own game of keeping Tapasya warm and happy for her own selfish reasons. So I do not think that Mai is going to stop Tapasya at all...right now Tapasya is swinging between fear of Raghu and what he can do, lording it over Ichcha (and that is Ichcha's own fault), cooing with Veer, and smug about being TVSB...and that is how things will be for a while.
