As I said court only comes later but an FIR can very well be lodged, she can go to prison and then maybe get bail. But Taps has not yet gone to prison for this.

She hid that blood stained stole, she even stole money and God's ornaments so that she could pay off Sid, so that he would remain quiet.
All this shows that she did not want to be exposed, would go to any lengths to stop it.
Even when Veer was being accused, she did not open her mouth, Veer did pyar ka natak and she told him some half truth.
This all proves she is not stupid and very much had a guilty mind.

She is not stupid and has a devious mind but I still feel Vansh's suicide in the eyes of the law cannot nail Tapasya but Veer certainly can.

A case of abettment was lodged against him by her parents, he even spent some time in prison for this just because he refused to marry her. Now he is out on bail.
He had no INTENTIOn to kill her.
