@ SRKLuvr,

Hi, just to clarify I am neither a fan of Tapasya nor Ichcha or for that matter anyone. I prefer to comment and analyze the show.

I think the topic starter was very accurate in saying that this is a classic example of a completely fictional serial. Cannot be even compared with Roots and other serials which are based on real life stories or incidents.

Uttaran may have had touches of reality when it first started but that has long since gone in the complex and ever changing storyline

Having said that I like Rashimi's acting and the reactions of so many says it all. She has played her part so well that it is difficult to love a character like Tapasya. One must also realise that she has a part which is completely in a viewer's face and therefore difficult to ignore.

Little Ichcha was fantastic and I found her a refreshing child actor. What has happened to Ichcha of today is entirely the fault of the creatives.
There is rarely one episode where her character is not required to cry, look sad, frown or suddenly throw a fit and then repent. I cannot in all fairness blame the Ichcha for this because it is what her part dictates.Even Ichcha fans would agree with me that it is no fun to see her constantly sad, morose and crying.
It is for the creatives to realise that the show is becoming skewed to one person and to rectify that.

Veer, on the other hand has been fairly constant (as much as the script will allow him to be) and his reactions today are probably more realistic in this fictional serial than anything I have seen.

As for what the creatives are putting us through with the other characters the less said the better. We are slowly regressing in time than progressing and eventually this will harm the viewership and the TRP's.

truly wonderful post...agree to each and every word....ichchas character has been spoilt....veer is the one who is shown to be realistic...and rashmi is a wonderful actress. here she is essaying role of a vamp but if ppl love her instead of hating her...then there is something wrong....but truly your post is wonderful....

Tapasya is a character the cvs meant us to have a soft corner for. Not as an outright vamp as a negative character yes but they have tried to portray her as someone who ought to be pitied and they have given her her cute moments too. I still remember those adorable moments in Delhi where she got up late and she was blabbering on about a movie she watched then offered to make Veer coffee then looked like whoops cos she forgot there was no milk and then got so excited about the party and then all excited said Have a nice day and blew a kiss at VeeršŸ˜ so childishly cute innocent and immature likešŸ˜† and even the next scene where she offers to iron Veer's shirt when hes in a grumpy mood that she forgot to tell the maid that the clothes needed to be pressedšŸ˜† how cute!šŸ˜† its these small moments that tell us tapu is not altogther negative and we love her because we feel she is to be pitied. So this is why we cant hate tapu and feel bad for her and love her.😳 We like the good side of her.

@bipasha23

You are justified in your point of view and let's see if the creatives are listening.

I think some of them do read the viewers remarks, because in another thread several members remarked on Ichcha who had donned her widow's robes, followed outdated rituals and YET continued to wear backless cholis. Now, I notice that even if she is wearing them, no one can see it or they have stopped making her wear backless cholis.

Creatives have made the character of one girl so bad that it is bordering on criminal whilst the other character is approaching sainthood which is unbelievable They need to tone this down and bring some rationality into these characters.
