Ichha crying always??? so what??? Did not Meena Kumari cry a lot and branded as the tragedy queen of silver queen? does that mean that Meena Kumari was a bad actress. But if somebody has some knowledge of history of Indian cinema than Meena Kumari alongwith Madhubala and Nutan are regarded as the three top actress Indian cinema has ever produced. Even such fine actress like Nargis does not find a mention in the top three. So crying on screen has nothing to do with the skill of acting. If Meena Kumari can cry and win millions of heart through her powerful acting, what is wrong with Ichha crying and moving millions of heart??? As a viewer it does not matter to me how much she is crying but can she make others cry with her acting??? If she can do that, there should not be any doubt about the finesse of her acting.....

As far as liking and disliking is concerned, well many people did not like Meena Kumari, but did that ever make her a lesser acting???

I think there should not be any confusion now between crying on screen and quality of acting now on...........

my dear freaq, it seems either you have not read it fully, or not understood it fully or trying to create an impression that it is a comparison between Meena Kumari or Tina. That is simply not on my dear.............it is just a reminder that crying has nothing to do with acting skills......if you do not like her crying acts...there are more tappuism for you to watch....anyway who has stopped you from switching off the TV when the crybabe Ichha comes on.........you can change to other channels.....and my last word....MY HISTORIOGRAPHY OF INDIAN CINEMA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TINNA...

I completely agree that crying does not have anything to do with acting. Since each person has their own opinion, rather than tell a member what to do (which is not very polite) why doesn't everyone agree to disagree and leave it at that.

However, just to take a note out of your remarks if Ichcha can make you cry with her crying then there is no doubt about her acting finesse .............may I give my humble opinion that far from making me cry, it has not even brought a lump to my throat which some of the yesteryear actresses named by you have done. Instead there is a sense of irritation and feeling of "oh no not again". It would be nice if the director or the team could maybe suggest to Ichcha to show her emotions in a more forthright manner (which the younger Ichcha did with so much aplomb) and then maybe we would not be having this conversation.

you are absolutely right, she is not a good actress in your eyes.....but she might be a good one for somebody else......so no one can be compared with anyone...but passing a judgment that Ichha is not a good actress because she is crying a lot and everybody should accept that point of view, I think is simply not on..........

For lambooji,

That is my opinion which should not be confused with anybody else's opinion. Everyone is free to feel what they like and I respect that.

This is an open forum and every person is entitled to their own comparisons.

No one is passing any judgements these are peoples perspectives. You have yours which one respects and others have theirs.

There are Ichca fans and Tapasya fans and to each their own.

You must think all the viewers are idiots if they dislike the character of Ichcha only because she cries. There has to be more than that and that is again each person's choice.

The last thing anyone is doing is forcing their point of view on anyone. After all you have your own view and our comments have not changed that have they?? So good for you.

No probs. it is your world, it is your TV, it is your opinion.....you are fully entitled to yours.....no body is disputing it, neither do I.............whether I accept it or not it is entirely a different matter.....I think you should not have any confusion now........

May I request you read the posts.

Of course it is not wrong to cry. Do you cry all the time??

How sad this serial must be if viewers are promoting crying instead of happiness.

no shivani, just pointed out the historigraphy of Indian cinema that crying does not mean that one is not a good actress or actor......If crying would have been bad acting we would not have remembered such classics such as Dil Apna aur Prit Parayee, Pakeeza, Nai Roshni, Parineeta, Dil Ek Mandir, Shahib Biwi aur Gulam......................she was crying throughout these films.........but most of the cinegoers (if not all) loved her like anything......and cried with her.....that is the power of acting......so crying aur laughing or any emotion does not make any one a good actor....but if somebody can identify him/self or herseld with the chacracter the actor is portraying that is called good acting.....so Tina does that which is liked my some people, Rashmi does that which makes her liked by some other people...........every actor or actress have their fan following....even Shakti Kapoor has many....but at the end of the day some are a cut above others and who are they.....only Janata Janardan will decide that......

shes not crying purposely. Those producers have got some extra supplies of glycerine so she must use them. šŸ˜†
waise bhi all the main lead heroines cry in all the serials. some girls r shown to be strong even then they cry. Icha is as it is on the milder side so obviously she has to cry more. Whats the argument abt it?
If the producers feel that her crying will dip trps then they will take care of it. It seems that there r some payment problems also going on between Tina and producers which is kind of ruining her character. But the loss is for both bec if the serial trps dip then producers r losers. So they shd be sensible and act accordingly.
even otherwise the majority public doesnt like villains winning all the time and obviously they will like Tina bec of the positivity of the character.

Well put my point exactly. When the public prefers Tapasya despite the negative character that she is playing then there is something wrong. This was my point exactly with the character that the producers have given Ichcha. Tina is only playing the role and it has not appealed to the public so the team needs to change their track a bit.
