GEC Watch and TAM Ratings:Uttaran on Top

Hmm after seeing these mindblowing ratings of Uttaran for last week in GEC watch as well as TAM ratings..I hv only one thing to say..."There is some X-Factor in this show which is making the viewers watch it every week despite all its flaws"

The bottom rung channels have all maintained the status quo. SAB has retained 6 per cent share, followed by STAR One, which garnered 3 per cent share. Sahara One and DD1 have garnered 2 per cent share each, followed by STAR Utsav, which has managed to get 1 per cent share.

Uttaran on Colors is the most watched show in Week 17, recording a TVR of 5.8. Pavitra Rishta on Zee, which takes the second spot, has recorded a TVR of 5.7. Bidaai and Na Aana Is Des Laado have garnered TVRs of 5.4 and 5.1 respectively.

thats could be caz in BV there wasnt so much -ve , ven it was i think they had it for month r so and i think BV was feel gud show .

^^Ya that could b one of the reason😆..viewers of Uttaran r used to seeing negativity sinse 7-8 months now..so they r ready to take anything and everything thats been shown in this serial😆

its like viewers are saying bring it on all the kachra we willl take it and take it with pride , thats why TRPs are getting better and better , there is no romance or happy moments for a chance tooooo god pooor ppl

Uttaran is keeping people hooked...people like the intrigue the suspense behind the muddled storyline..thats what i feel......how will vansh ichha story develop??...will veer accept tapasya??..will their relationship ever develop on a genuine level???...these are the factors which cause intrigue...not to forget the wonderful chemistry which they have slowly created between vansh and ichha!!!...some of the other shows lack this kind of suspense..and as far as negativity through tapu is concerned..we all know its the Indian viewer who is to blame!!..the creatives are forced to keep these characters and their ongoing evil afloat..because anyone who is experienced in Indian television in this industry would know that a simple drama will be wiped off!!!!..like so many nice decent ones have been due to lack of negativity and drama!!!...personally i crave to see the evil tapasya exposed and punished....but i can tell you...it ain't happening!!!!...not so quickly anyway....

Jyoti you have a point here...i dont follow balika vadhu that regularly but i saw the special episode last week...i dont know why people dont like teepri....but i think balika vadhu on the whole lacks suspense..we know maasa has a bigtime evil streak..all her family members know so..and this has been constant since the show started..her attitude towards her daughter in laws etc...nothing new has come up since then..exept some minor story here and there....all the characters are like an open book..so there is no suspense!!!...i would imagine people want something new now.and i heard its going to take a leap and high time too!!!!....but in uttarans case the tracks are all interconnected...tapasya has never been exposed..noone exept veer knows she is evil!..and we still dont know how ichha is going to react further to that deadly slap she gave her.....i think hats off to the creatives for creating such an intiguing storyline..we still dont know what vansh is all about!!!... they have really created the chemistry between vansh and ichha beautifully if you ask me...another big mystery is wether veer and tapasya will form a genuine relationship!!!...because alot of us wonder how on earth that will happen!!!...like i said earlier i am not a tapu fan but i give full credit to the creatives of uttaran...for slowly creating such a storyline...its keeping people hooked..and thats really what they want!!!..they are not here to get emotional because few are hurt to see veer ichha come to an end!!!..

@Sonia:I completely agree with you..Balika vadhu lacks the suspense factor...Viewers don't hv that curiosity anymore regarding the storyline..whereas in Uttaran u never know what willl b Tappu's next plan of action😆...again u dunno whether Vansh-Ichha marriage will succeed or not..whether their love will blossom or not...whether Veer will ever get rid of Tappu or not...so there r lots of open gates in this storyline which is not the case with balika vadhu..and thats why Uttaran is consistent whewreas viewers r bored of BV now🥱..even with shows like bidaai..theres no curiosity left anymore..thats the reason their trps r coming down..I think viewers enjoy watching unpredictable high voltage dramas rather than romantic or predictable tales
