Veer is driving in heavy traffic, when he suddenly spots Sid walking on the street, and recalls how he had caught Sid fleeing from the hospital. Veer starts to follow Sid in his car, until he sees him enter a Mall. On entering the Mall, Sid is shown to be surreptitiously searching for someone. Parked on the street, Veer calls Thakur sahib and enquires why Sid was released from prison. Thakur sahib tells him that, yes, he too has recently come to know from the police that bail has been posted for Sid by an anonymous person. While on the phone, Veer sees Tapu get out of her car and walk into the same Mall. Veer follows Tapu. They show Tapu walking into the Mall and nervously looking over her shoulder. A cat and mouse chase then ensues between Veer-Tapu-Sid, and in this chase, Veer loses sight of Tapu.
Tapu is standing in a bookstore when a hand rests on her shoulder. She turns around to find Sid. Tapu sternly tells Sid not to talk or look at her in public, as she pretends to be browsing through some books. She warns Sid never to call her on her cell phone again. Sid secretively thanks Tapu for getting him released from jail and tells her how he knew she would come for him, for if she had not, he, in a moment of weakness, might have confessed his crime. Tapu angrily tells Sid that he is mistaken and that she did not post bail. She warns Sid to stay away from her, and starts to walk away from him and the store. Sid is utterly perplexed at Tapu's cold/rude behavior towards him, and he follows her into the mall's hallway, and grabs her by the arm and tells her that he committed the crime for her love, and he will destroy her if she betrays him. Tapu corrects him and tells him that he acted on his own accord, as she never ever asked him to kill Ichha, and that she only loves Veer. Tapu gives Sid some cash and tells him to leave town and never show his face to her again, and if continues to harass her in the Mall, she threatens to not only ask Ichha to identify him but also to scream amongst all these people, that he has come to kill her. Shocked, Sid grabs Ichha by the arms and fiercely jolts her, and at that very moment, Veer comes into the picture, and sees Sid violently shaking a person behind a pillar, but he is not able to see the person (Tapu). Veer starts walking towards Sid. Tapu sees Veer coming towards them, and she immediately tells Sid to hide himself. Sid runs behind a shelf in a nearby store. Tapu then intentionally drops her cell phone on the floor and breaks it. She kneels down to pick it up, as she awaits Veer to approach her. Veer sees a nervous Tapu, and in a concerned manner, enquires what she was doing in the mall as he has just seen Sid also enter the place. Veer tells Tapu that he followed her into the mall, as it was not safe for her to be alone in the same premises as Sid, especially as his intentions for murdering Ichha were still unknown. Veer offers to escort Tapu out of the Mall and drop her home in his car, despite Tapu's refusal.
In the car, Tapu thanks Veer, and once again apologizes to him for her misguided ways when she separated Veer from his Iccha on their wedding day. Tapu seeks Veer's forgiveness, and hopes, that if nothing else they may become friends. Veer nods his head. Tapu reassures him that she will try her best to convince Ichha to accept him, and for once in her life, think about herself, and not her (Tapu) and her (Tapu) happiness. Veer thanks Tapu.
Ichha has a book in her hand, and is sitting in a reclining chair in her room. She is lost in her thoughts, and recalls Nani jeering her about living on Tapu's "uttaran", and Thakur sahib requesting her to seriously think about Veer. Ammo enters with a tray of food. Both mom and daughter are shown joking with each other, with Ammo feeding Ichha. Eating her food, Ichha tells Ammo that when she was shot, she saw her whole childhood flash in front of her eyes, and for a moment, she was fearful as she realized she may never see her Ammo again. Ammo stops Ichha and berates the person who conspired to kill Ichha, praying that her killer never find happiness in his life. Ichha remembers Tapu confessing in the hospital about asking Sid to kill her, and stops Ammo from giving "buddua" to the killer. Iccha reminds Ammo that "budduas" have a way of coming around. Next, in her child-like way, Ichha wishes to Ammo, that wouldn't it be nice if the events of the last months had never happened, that Thakur sahib hadn't fallen ill, she and Tapu had remained best friends, and Ammo would not have suffered on her account. Ammo tells Ichha that Thakur sahib had given her an opportunity to fix everything and she should accept Veer. Ichha refutes Ammo, and says that she is not that selfish to think only about herself, and not about the rest of the family. Ichha then remembers her childhood memory, with Ammo telling her to always stand by Tapu and their priceless friendship. Ammo lovingly looks at Ichha, and the camera freezes on Ichha's face.
Precap: Tapu is telling Veer's mom that she will return to Bundela house the day Veer recognizes his love for her, and that she will wait all her life for that moment. Veer's mom tells Tapu that Vansh wants to marry Ichha.
