I don't think it's Veer's job to get Tapasya "back on track" - if she ever was on track! I haven't watched this show from the beginning, but they did show some flashbacks where Tapasya was being mean to Iccha even as a child. Some people are just selfish - no matter how much they have, they hate to share. Tapasya cannot be taught to be kind and thoughtful....if she doesn't want to herself!
