Uttaran hits 500

Its party time for the team of Uttaran on Colors as the show completes 500 episodes today.

We catch up with the 2 leading ladies of the show Ichcha aka Tina Dutta and Tapasya aka Rashmi Desai as they celebrate the success of the show and also recall special memories associated with it.

When we ask the two pretty actresses about the celebrations that are lined up Tina reveals "We have planned to celebrate in a grand way. There are a lot of parties in store where we plan to have full dhamaal". Rashmi adds "We will definitely celebrate the special occasion in a special way".

Tina and Rashmi get nostalgic as they recall their favourite scenes from the show that has made them household names. Tina reminisces "My most memorable scene was the one where Veer was getting married to Tapasya and I was crying while giving her my uttaran, that performance had come from the heart and everyone praised it. Also the scene when my husband Vansh died and I had not cried but when papa visited I just broke down. Overall I love Tapasya's scenes especially the scene where she gets desperate for Veer was wonderful and well performed by Rashmi". As for Rashmi she says "My wedding sequence was great technically as well as story wise and I can just keep watching it numerous times".

The actresses also share some off screen memories that are close to their heart. Rashmi says "The team had organized a surprise party on my birthday and that was so much fun". Tina quips "Off-screen I, Rashmi, Nandish and other co-actors have fun throughout the day. Ayubji is the prankster on the sets with him present on the sets there can never be a dull moment".

So did they ever expect that Uttaran would be so popular and successfully make it to the 500 episode mark? Tina reveals "When I joined the show itself I had a feeling it would be number 1. On the first day of the shoot I was very confident of its success and told Rupaliji that the show will be on top .500 episodes is a big achievement and I am extremely happy". Rashmi adds " It is a good show so yes I expected it to do well right from the beginning".

Tina and Rashmi have to leave but not before leaving a message from their fans. Tina says "If the audience was not so faithful and loyal we would have not completed 500 episodes. The audience has accepted me as Ichcha, Rashmi as Tapasya and Nandish as Veer because of which we have become so popular with their blessing and love. Keep loving and showering your blessings on us .A big thank you to our fans and the credit of our success goes to you". Rashmi says "Keep watching Uttaran and keep loving us. Whatever success the show has achieved is because of our fans. God bless".

Ichcha to get pregnant?

Color's most loved show Uttaran will enter into an interesting twist as Veer and Ichcha will share some romantic moments in the forthcoming episodes and very soon Tapu will get a shock when she comes to know that Ichcha is pregnant.

An Indya source tell us that, "Tapu is trying to win sympathy from mai and other members of the family but at same time she won't able to stop the romance between Ichcha and Veer, which will get her jealous. She will pretend to fall sick so that mai would tell Veer to be with her but she fails in this plan. We will see Veer and Ichcha share romantic scenes."

About Ichcha's pregnancy our source informs, "Her pregnancy story is not fully developed yet as we are working on it. Right now we want to focus on Nani-Tapu track, where nani will support Tapu in bringing Veer closer to her. Not only this Veer would realize his mistake about getting intimate with Tapu during his bad days and he would disclose this to Ichcha but this will bring them closer and will lead to a stronger emotional bonding."

Nandish-Rashmi engaged?

Sources close to Uttaran stars Nandish Sandhu and Rashmi Desai reveal that the popular couple recently got engaged.

A source reveals "Nandish proposed to Rashmi on December 25 which was also his birthday. The whole event was a very romantic affair planned that Nandish planned for Rashmi. Nandish and Rashmi have been dating for a long time now so the engagement is not really a surprise".

Unlike most couples in Tellyland, Nandish and Rashmi have always been open about their love for each other. The duo has also been creating a style statement by attending recent award functions in colour co-ordinated clothes.

We are sure fans of Uttaran must be delighted with the latest development in Nandish and Rashmi's life and are now waiting for them to officially announce the engagement.

A source says, "Nani has just begun to trap Ichcha in every situation. She will keep playing small games against Ichcha and make Gunwanti notice how Ichcha doesn't want Tapasya in the house. Gunwanti who is already against Ichcha decides to take some action against her and stops her from interfering in any work related to Tapasya. She will also warn her against hurting Tapasya, as she is carrying the heir to their family.

"On the other hand, Veer is confident that Tapsya is just pretending to be pregnant. He will happen to follow her once more and gets suspicious of her moves. He will slowly collect proofs of the same which will create trouble for Tapasya. It is said he will get hold of her medical reports which say she is not pregnant. However, it will take him some more time to expose her in front of everyone."

Nandish remained unavailable for comment.

A source says, "Sharad who plays Satyaveer will soon enter the show and will accidently bump into Veer and Ichcha. Veer will take Ichcha out for dinner and after having their dinner Veer goes to get his car from the parking lot but in confusion identifies someone else's car as his. He tries opening the car with his keys which turns on the security alarm and a security personnel catches hold of him. But, Veer does explain to them that it was just a mistake but they do not understand it. Satyaveer comes and understands the situation and tells it to the security guard as well. On the other hand in the hotel where Satyaveer is with his sister celebrating her birthday, the cake that he orders reaches Ichcha's table which is a mistake again."

Sharad confirmed his entry in the show and said, "This character that I am playing is very different from all my previous characters, Just wait and watch it."
