Looks like these 2 are 2 different scenes. paru amma waering 2 different color sarees. One pouring water and second lighting a match. I also notice that Gowri's wedding happens in a police station and all from Visalam family are around and Paru amma is lying outsside. She will get even more mad with AZ family supporting Gowri I guess. I wonder who is that with blue saree on the first picture. May be Gayu? looks like Gowri though from the side.


Why couldn't she inform her brother about her love so he can solve it for her!

Thanks for updates... i think that guy is another young version of Senthil... i wont blame gowri for falling in love... because when we have problems and no one seems to understand us..we always looks for new sources of relationship..(normally it will drag us to more problem later) hope Gayu will help to sort this problem...

On a serious note, if thisGowri does have the guts to "fall in love" she should have atleast a fraction of it to tell it to someone who is responsible for her. Doesnt it defy logic, that you fall in love, want to marry that fellow, but will not tell anyone at home?

@eclat, I agree with you that if she has the guts to fall for a guy whom she hardly knows, why can't she have a fraction of the same guts to tell her family whom she has known all her life? Is it because she knows it is wrong? After all, does she know anything else about the guy other than what he says is his name?

I always used to wonder about girls in my college, who used to fall for a guy in the same class (and both would be doing their 1st year BA or BSc, neither having the capacity to go out in the world and make a living on their own) and sometimes this guy would break up in the second year, saying his parents had found him a girl or he got married during the summer break to his cousin, and sometimes it was the other way around, and then the other person would go and take sleeping pills or whatever. (I always wanted to know what it was that they were supposed to have taken, but these matters were hush-hush, and nobody would tell my group anything, since we were the so-called serious people!)


When will these teenagers get it into their heads that there is a whole lot more to life than this holding hands and saying "I love you" and going to movies thiruttuthanamaa? When will they realize that they must know each other well, each other's families well, see if the two families are compatible, see if they have similar ideas about life and their future, and then talk about Unakku naan, enakku nee stuff? I think a lot of the blame goes to the movies and nowadays, the TV serials also, for giving these teenagers such ideas. On the other hand, this happened in the days before TV also, so I guess it is hormones, and - the key word - TRUST. Trust your parents to know what is good for you, and also do not trust others blindly. Parents also must learn to trust their children and must constantly reinforce the idea in their teenagers' heads that they can go to the parents without fear in their hearts.
