I can understand a few shows getting hit by the triangle thing because there's so much drama for a while but isn't this getting ridiculous? At this point is there any show without triangle, rectangle, Pentagon...
It's clearly working on the TRP front for those trying though- so they're now copying it across the board. That show is also fighting to stay alive- Sitara have tried hard to beat Udaariyaan but neither SAAKK or ZMGA could do it, and if it doesn't raise the TRP's soon enough, KKIS will face the axe too.
And not just any triangle- it's mostly a triangle with sisters/cousin sisters going for the same guy.
The same in KKIS- he's effectively "married" both cousin sisters.
The next step forward for ITV will probably be official bigamy 🤔 (why fight when you can share 🤡) , although thankfully the Marriage Act doesn't accept it.
Edit- this is the new KKIS promo- pretty dramatic, as you can see.

That's the issue tho na. .. Good stories don't get TRP. I've just noticed kaamna and the show, acting is so much more complex and mature than every top 5 show. The other shows which aren't cheap drama oriented, they have a talwar on their head constantly. It seems more like a society problem.
Also it's not going to change for a few years at least. Everything is regressing.
Even I saw yesterday's episode of kaamna , and oh god the kid really acts better than Isha , his dialogue delivery is on point !! His every act and dialogue , I was like 'ohh' 'ahaa' 'wooow' , he cute too😳. The casting is on point too !Originally posted by: Bluekohl

Damn! What the hell? The original i mean the Bengali show was so much better. They used to top charts with a simple positive story and the family angle. What they have done here? He's married to both the girls🤢.

Oh god!! And that's how you cast negative grey characters, aakansha is a total bitch, but there are still shades in her character.
And vaibhav, holy f, the guy is such a kamina, but I've major crush on him.
tbh i find the protagonists of the story sooo vanilla.

I believe it to be an issue with the way TRP's are calculated (like some 2K TRP boxes decide the TRP's for Mumbai, which literally has 20 million folks residing in it)- so one guy literally speaks for the viewing habits of 10,000 folks 😔
As an urban guy, I don't know anybody in my extended circle with a TRP box.
But for some weird reason, all channels seem content to let status quo be, and urban viewers like us have to then struggle to get good content on ITV- all content will obviously cater to the lowest common denominator 😔 (not being classist here, just saying what it is)
All this bigamy, one man two women nonsense reminds me of gags in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
The way they used to troll ITV through "Uska pati sirf mera hai", tv show Monisha used to watch, is evergreen 😆 The way Patang kumar, the protagonist, used to float between the women of his life. His name is "deep" because of this drifting between women like a kite 🤣 All the plastic surgery, expressionless acting, some vamp becoming warewolf every full moon 😆 Oh God! ITV hasn't changed in all these years.
And I am sorry if this is offensive but what kinda bhojpuri fetish is Ghum show with Male Lead having Bhabhis queueing for him? They are very slyly pandering to that section of audience who enjoys forbidden romances. No other show horrifes me like that show(probably that other bhabhi ghar pe something equally cringe). Almost all ITV shows are immoral x infinity but that particular show makes me puke.

The thing is, idk whether it's actually wrong or not. ITV's biggest audience is sahm. And they watch the same stuff across the class lines. Also urban youth population is actually very tiny when compared to the rest. And most of us are happy with netflix and chill
Yeah the protagonists seem to be mamta ki moorats yet they don't seem to take bsOriginally posted by: Bluekohl
