Agreed Tejo with or without a brain is a emotional fool...even in her sherni mode, she melts and gives in to family. This was when you could see he loves her and actually truly, not just a crush or an obsession but he loves her as deeply and meaningfully one can. This is why why after his self confession about Ishq Tejo and Angad could have been together and I would have been still happy. Because at the end her love wasn't one sided, she got something which she deserved.

He loved her so much yet he let her go. Now that is something.
