In Malaysia probably. In india almost 20 years same education system. So five years doesn't matter much. Now things are changing though. Post 2010 yes things have progressed at snail's pace here. Otherwise when my cousins and me were in school we used same books for years. I am the oldest and there is a gap of 13 years btw me and my youngest cousin but we had same syllabus and books etc. But yes movie music etc choices were a bit diff. But not with other cousins who were 5or 6 yrs younger it was almost same choices and lingo as well. Now in India present kids use diff lingo altogether 😆 But I'm aware of most of it so i can converse with my nieces and nephews easily even with a twenty yrs gap😆

Ah that's so lovely! I think I'm better connected with my older cousins but like literally most of them don't live nearby anymore so I'm kind of left behind. I can talk to kids just fine but not able to connect. Sometimes I'm just too "grown up" in a sense so when someone doesn't understand me, I give up.

There are two aspects, whether you grow and move along the time, have the capability to change when required, or faced with new info can you change your view. Most adults become 'old' because they lack that. Other is kinda cultural aspect which will be different but that does not matter much, like what movies, shows etc you liked.

are you're in your 30s and I do not feel like I'm talking to someone 'older' while I can't talk to some people even my age. I get what you mean...I've lil cousins who are closer to me than their bffs. I was about to say something earlier which kinda sounded like J would say and i immediately stopped😆

despite negative reviews, I loved the scene. Look how it began,she's concerned for Fateh. But she can't outright show her concern...so she talks about amrik. then he pours his heart out, which he's a habit to do, esp in front of her, and she knows how much he needs it.

As he himself confesses, he's acting strong but he's feeling broken. That look...he doesn't want to leave. There's a pull she feels too,but one time she's been on that road and can't go there. So she gently nudges him...

Ya there must be easily a ten year gap btw u and me and kids much younger have connected with me easily enough. But yes sometimes wavelengths don't match with people ur age as well and ur like yaar ye kaunse planet se hai bhai.😆 Happens. I think my generation if i can call it that have adapted and moved with times not all ofcourse but most have. The previous generation not so much most r stuck in their ways but yes there are a few who have progressed and are really open minded. The next gen like teenagers abhi ke well kya bolu. Too much exposure maybe not enough guidance as parents wud be busy with careers etc. Many are a sane lot but some just don't know which end is up and I'm scared how they wud survive in the real world out there. Personal one on one convos and basic human contact has reduced a lot in present times and covid has just added to that obviously. So pre teens and under 18 kids probably the worst affected by this. Everything virtual ho gaya. Hope pandemic leaves us this year atleast. So fed up honestly.

Wat negative reviews why by who where for God's sake. It was a good scene and both of them pretty much spoke with their eyes. Dialogues were meaningful too. Kaun praani hai bhai jinhe pasand nahi aaya.😕

I also liked the scene. They find comfort in each other and both needed that to settle down and at one point they were giving each other the longing look and Tejo broke the eye contact.
