I think Angad's wife and daughter have left him , she might have moved on with another man ( as per Angad's and Fateh's conversation during their drinks)
He might have done some mistakes and lost that 'special person' of his life , later realised , hence is attracted to Tejo's personality.
They definitely are not a part of his life now , cuz we still have bts of Angad and Tejo discussing about engagement ( though it's fake , but still😆). Fatang are at a pub , and marriage episodes shooting has also started so Angad's past will be dusted off with Tejo knowing the trauma of Angad's life .
