Ok here's something I wrote, because makers won't give any happiness. Here's a little two shot, about what I'd like to happen.
Edit: Scroll down for part 2. It's within this post..
"Aur Fatteh ye saare bartan saaf karke, poori safai karwake restaurant band kardena. Aaj mujhe jaldi jana hai."
Fateh nodded to this and kept on washing the pile of dirty dishes which didn't seem to reduce. He sighed, and went into his thoughts, just thinking about how his life had turned out. Once a youth icon, now he'd been living in ruins for about five years. People are right, Karma is real. He had earned it, hurting everyone...his family, father, and most of all Tejo. His heart still skipped a beat whenever he remembered her. He could not even look in the mirror because he's so afraid of her... Somehow his own eyes always reminded him of her dark orbs, her smile which would light up the entire room, and her heart which had so much love and compassion for everyone...
He saw his boss, the owner of that small Indian restaurant leave and then sighed. Jasmine was sitting in a corner, scrolling on her phone.
"Jasmine kam se kam tables aur baaki safai toh kar hi lo..." he shouted at her from across the kitchen.
"huh...yahi kismat hai meri...kahan socha tha kanneda mein aish karungi...aisi naukro jaisi halat ho gayi hai meri..." Jassmine murmured, got up and started to clean tables.
"Socha to maine bhi kabhi nahin tha...ki main bartan dhounga...par ab jo hai wo hai..." Fateh replied.
"Toh iss baare mein kuch karte kyon nahin kuch...? Waise bhi ye tumhari galti hai ki tumhe koi achhi job nahin milti...Problem tumhari hai. Aur maine toh kaha bhi hai...ghar phone kartee hain na.... Kuch paise bhijwa de tumhare papa..." Jasmine said bitterly.
"Jasmine...iss baat ko tum dhang se samajh lo. Kuch bhi ho jaye...main ab apni faamily ko involve nahin karne wala. Agar tumhe itni problem hai na...toh mera peecha chodo aur kahin dafa ho jao..."Fateh spat angrily.
"huh...Shaadi se pehle toh bade bade waade kiye the...aur ab. Isse achha toh main kisi kanneda wale se shaadi karti..."
"Toh jao na... main toh mana bhi nahin kar raha. Tumhe jahan jaana ho..." he's amidst his retort when he heard a faint voice, and his heart's beat got faster.
"Oh yeah...I'm here. I've found the place. It's a little thing...I knoow it's not like our usual restaurants, but I've heard such good things about this place from desi colleagues. Aa jao na.."
Both Fateh and Jasmine's jaws dropped on floor as they saw Tejo in front of them.
Part 2
“Tejo…” Fateh said and looked on. She’s same, but somehow different. It’s like she had not aged a day in five years, but there was aglow, a radiant smile which was somehow warmer, more beautiful and stunning than ever. There’s something else, but he couldn’t put a finger on it.
“Hi guys… umm… Wo…I’d just heard about this restaurant, but it seems like you’re not open. Sorry…I’ll leave.” Tejo was at loss of words. She had no idea why their paths had to meet again.
“Are Tejo…please… tum baitho. Abhi khana hai, do you want to have it or take away?” he said politely.
“umm… take away. Well…it’s nice you guys have a restaurant and have a nice life.” She tried to make small talk.
“Wo…it’s not ours. We just work here. Well… don’t worry. I’ll pack the food for you.”Fateh said and went inside.
Tejo looked at Jasmine, and couldn’t help but sigh. She had to destroy lives, families, friendships for this! She tried to ignore, and stared at the wall but couldn’t feel but sorry seeing Jasmine and Fateh in this state. Once the golden child of their homes, raised with nothing but love and pampering, surrounded by every bit of luxury they could imagine, now had lost everything.
“Bahut khushi mil rahi hai na tujhe aise dekhkar humein…”Jasso couldn’t stand there and look at Tejo, all dressed up in such expensive stuff. Her boots looked like they costed more than her and Fateh’s whole month salary combined, she had a watch more expensive than everything she and Fateh owned, and let’s not even talk about the diamonds. This was her life. As usual Tejo snatched what was hers.
Tejo raised eyebrows… oh well dear sister hasn’t changed. She looked quietly and then smiled… “well… people do say Karma is a bitch.”Tejo had learnt finally, how to give it back to people, especially if they deserve it.
Jasmine flared… “Ye meri zindagi thi. Tune phir se mera sapna cheen liya…aise rehna mera sapna tha…tera nahin.”
Tejo smiled… her sister was still a vicious idiot. “Sapne har koi dekh leta hai…unhe poora karne ki aukaat har kisi ki nahin hoti. I’m HoD at my university, a bestseller author, a millionaire because main iss kabil hoon. Tu toh gold digger bhi kaam ki nahin nikli. Ab tu bilkul useless hai, main har cheez mein tujhsse better hoon, to ismein main toh kuch nahin kar sakti.”
“Hey… “ suddenly the door opened and someone entered.
“Angad…you found the restaurant…” Tejo smiled and lit up as he entered. He came up to her and quickly pecked her lips.
That’s the moment Fateh entered and everyone looked at everyone.
“Oh My God”Angad tried to break the awkward silence.
“Well Tejo… I’ll pay the bill. How about you wait?” Angad said to Tejo and Tejo nodded at this.
“Are nahin… let this be on the house. We can’t take moneyfrom you guys…” Fateh tried to refuse but Angad smiled and insisted on paying; “dude maana hum rishtedaar hain, but itna milna julna nahin hai humara ki main tumhare yahan bina bill pay kare reh loon.”
Jasmine saw an opportunity and suddenly laughed loudly. She fluttered her eyes and smiled widely and said to Angad in a babyish voice…. “Come on jeeja jii…ab toh milna julna hota hi rahega. How about you can pay us back by taking us out on dinner sometime.”
Angad rolled her eyes, proceeded to pay the bill and said “Tumhe kya lagta hai, har ladka Fateh jitna bewkoof hota hai. Here…” he took out a hundred dollar bill, put it on her hand and said… “Ye mujhse aur meri wife se door rehne ke liye.”
Angad picked up the food, Tejo took his arm, and both left the restaurant.
