someone tell me why exactly Fateh fell for Jasmine??? Is it just cuz she is fair-skinned?? Thats seems like it. Fateh is so shallow. But maybe they wanted to highlight desi culture obsession with fair-skin 🤓.

I am fair-skin and I hate the emphasis on color our culture has. My sister is brown skin and I am fair and our entire childhood was about people commenting on our skin color. I know how much my sister had to hear the nonsense of people, them comparing the two of us. She was affected by those comments in her childhood. Now she's over it but sometime we do discuss this even today. Its just sick, the mentality. Thank god I am no jasmine who thinks she's so pretty and the only prettiest person in the entire city ... My sister is beautiful and she's so photogenic, whereas my pictures barely come out that good 😆.

I hate hate this emphasis on skin-color, with products like fair & lovely 😡..

At least Angad's having a crush/smitten by Tejo makes sense because of her personality and good nature and thats what Angad saw instead of just her face.

Are even facewise Tejo is sooo gorgeous! Yes Indians are obsessed with fair skin but we aren't completely blind when it comes to features. Is everyone blind in UD universe? Tejo has such gorgeous looks!

My mom is a dark skinned woman and I've seen this thing happen irl. She does everything better than perfection, and it's not a good thing. And this just breaks my heart🥺
