In small towns and villages something like this gets around within a day. It's not an apartment in delhi that nobody cares what you're doing.

In my mom's town, there's a guy who has a mistress, it's an open secret. He's a businessman who owns half of the city(like at least 60-70crore property) multitude business, and even his mistress lives in a separate house which he bought. You can absolutely have mistresses, and if you're really powerful like virks are, you can keep them as 'slave' (it's actually a really sad tradition, especially in rural areas) BUT you can't just bring a random woman as a wife.

And btw fateh knows jasmine is evil.

Second reason to save fateh from jasmin

If fatejo divorce happens he will get green pas to marry jasmin so as long as he is bound with tejo he cant marry jasmin

They are well aware what he has for jasmin is obsession not pure love

Third defo is to save from family humiliation

They went through a lot during jasfa marriage

I dont see them as being wrong

In arrange marriages the elders try to work out to save the marriage as much as they can

They are trying to save fateh from jasmin and tejo from further humiliation

So now it all depends on tejo if she still wants to save her marriage

I hope she tells papa virk and grandpa that she is a strong woman and doesnt give a damn about society humiliation

Tejo has to take a stand for herself now

But this is not there place to have their say. Divorce happens between husband and wife when nothing works out between them, it is never first option in any marriage. Yes, elders involvement helps in some situations but adultery for me is not that situation. It is completely Tejo and Fateh's call and they both don't want to be in this marriage.

One dialogue of Fateh's grandfather irked me a lot. He said Fateh ko toh akal nahi hai but Tejo ko rok sakte the. What does he mean by that? This is very typical dialogue in misogynistic household, where the guy can do whatever he wants but girl has to be understanding. If he care so much about Tejo's reputation then he should slap his grandson and throw him out of the house and declare it in front of the world how he wronged their daughter in law.

Fateh himself don't want any rescue act then why his family is hell bent on doing it on his behalf. He chose Jasmeen as his future and brought her back in his present. He is an adult and has made his call. Why they treat him as someone who is manipulated and naïve person when he is not. He has dug his own grave and now he should lay in it. Even if family wants to put rescue act, Tejo should not be mean to it.

They have already made one mistake to save family's reputation by getting these 2 married and now they want to make second mistake by forcing them to be in this marriage without their will. 2 wrongs can never make one right. Tejo has made her stand clear, Virk's and Sandhu's should atleast respect this decision now.

Me too even if it's off screen it's torturous. Especially since a month and a half back after that shape of u vm came out right after that consummation episode and fateh is regretting it like a true douchebag. That day for some goddamn annoying reason my neighbor kept playing that song in a loop and it was so irritating like every time that line would come ki I'm in love with the shape of u I'd go haath saale haath, haath nahi Lagana, dur haath varna bohot pitega Cauz I just couldn't get that out of my mind. 🤣🤣
