Out of all the character’s in the show the one I dislike the most is actually Tejo. She is way to naive and stupid. I mean she is a teacher and is also educated but can’t use her mind properly. She trusts blindly and then she always ends up getting hurt. Her character irks me a lot. I get that we need people like Tejo in this world, who cares about others and love others without conditions but this is way too much. She is actually very dumb and easy to manipulate also.

Naive is the right word for tejo. She is too trusting. The blind love for her sister , her family and her faith in fateh will bring her down pretty soon. But that's how she is. Its her goodness that she exudes that she hopes and expects peope to return. Maybe she is too optimistic to expect that people would be as good as she is.

But I can't believe that you would actually prefer that spineless fateh and cheap jasmin over tejo. Those two are the lowest of the low species. The fact that tejo irks you more than them speaks a lot...what are your thoughts on the other two? Coz noone gets my blood Boling more than those two on this show.

Oh trust me I hate those two also🤢. But I don’t know I feel like Tejo trust everyone and it’s kinda annoying because i feel it’s not realistic at all. Maybe it’s just me. I don’t know but Fateh and Jasmine are behaving like what a lot of people would have in these kind of situations but the trust Tejo put in Fateh and Jasmine irks me. This trait of hers annoys me, I feel any body else would have been more careful. Because she have been hurt by them before also so I just don’t get it? Why does she still trust them so blindly? It’s the only thing which I dislike about her and my eyes hurts when I see her being so dumb and I get a headache because of her naivety. And anybody would be careful in her situation like your husband loved your sister. Your sister was literally after your husband even when they newly got married so how can she trust them when they are together or when he is calling her and rushes her to hospital when her fiancé is their to take care of her. I don’t like the way she is not understanding her surroundings which kinda makes sense for ITV but I can’t relate to her. Because I would be suspicious if I were Tejo

What with Tejo dying and JasFa reuniting after 20 years..lol Anyways..Coming to the topic..

Fateh: He was shown as an obsessive lover..Especially the way he stalked Jasmine and tried to stop her marriage even before confessing to her..I believe he didn't even talk to her at that point.. And I hated how he said he wants to be slave for her.. 🤑 I don't think anyone in their right mind would say those things..It's such a turn off to be honest..So he is far from perfect..Characterless..Not that much before..But now totally due to cheating..I totally understand how he tried his best yet couldn't move on..As he crazily loved Jasmine for 2 years..Why can't he just confess to Tejo that he still in love with Jasmine and she too..Ask for a divorce and get married..Matter closed..But nope..He wants Tejo as his family is happy with her and don't want to leave his rights as hubby..And wants Jasmine for himself..Sailing in two boats..That's the problem..

I also agree with you..What they are showing is in fact real..Such things really takes place..Where people get married for family sake have affair with the one they love..

Tejo: She really thought Jasmine and Fateh moved on..It's not like her sister kept crying and said she loves Fateh and want to be back with him to her..Instead she happily portrayed she getting married to Gippy and going to Canada..Tejo first hand knows about her Canada obsession..So she totally believes her sister moved on..Also it's not like Jasmine crazily loved Fateh..Right??? It's only she who pushed her to give him a chance..Jasmine accepted Fateh as he got the Canada job or else she would never have agreed for the marriage..

Tejo yet to know that Fateh is her sister's new obsession..So when her hubby wants to have physical relationship..It was normal for her as a wife to consent as she too started loving him..What's wrong in falling for your hubby??? So what if he is her sister ex-lover (yes, ex, as Jasmine dumped him)..Why should she remain friends but not a wife??? She is just carrying her duty as a wife..

Jasmine: What can I say about her..Only one word can define her..Obsession..First it was Canada..Now Fateh..On Canada..She could have easily chosen the right way of studying and trying to get a job there..That's what a normal girl who wants to be independent will do..She dreamed the essay way..In a way I don't fault her..As there are many such people in real life..On Fateh..It's totally her zid not love.. Wasn't she trying to prove a point to her best friend Sweety that Fateh didn't move on and still loves her??? Is that what is love about??? By definition both Jasmine and Fateh are wrong when it comes to love..I think they don't even understand what love is..

I really wish the makers didn't show Tejo anymore dumb..

The characterless people here are Jasmine and fateh….tejo may be naive but she’s a good person. She didn’t just fall into bed with her husband…he’s been making moves on her for weeks…so yes..he gave her indications that he cares about her and that he finds her attractive,.and that she is special to him..so she starting falling for him …you had to have watched the episodes to see how fateh made tejo think she’s special to him. Anyway so when he initiated taking their relationship to another level…she went with it…she’s a normal woman..if she goes to bed with the man who’s made her feel special and who she finds attractive and who’s her husband …there’s nothing wrong with it…because he hasn’t been indicating to her that he still wants her sister.. tejo is being lied to by both her husband and sister…she’s the victim here. And she married fateh after getting jasmines consent..and fateh agreed to marry her..she didn’t hold a gun to his head..So it’s one big mess at the moment..best thing would be for tejo to remove herself from the equation but there will be lots of heartache for her before that,..🤷🏻‍♀️

I think you're kind of right about Fateh - especially when he's so openly cheating on his wife, in front of her, yet being innocent about it - that is quite the characterless move. But I think more than characterless, it's best to describe him as spineless. Even his career was suggested by his wife.

Tejo : Don't agree at all. She can't read her sister's mind and her sister wasn't even sad when she left Fateh at the alter. Jasmin at most displayed anger towards Fateh, and then showed to Tejo & her family that she moved on. If she moved on, why can't Tejo? What did people think she'd marry a man and not want to eventually consummate the marriage? What about kids? I think she's always thought Fateh was a good guy. He was being nice to her, calling himself so lucky that she was his wife, sneaking out to meet her, calling her 20 times when she was at her maayka, saying he missed her, giving her lustful looks, kissing her. Fateh instigated all of that. At most she was ever just a friend to him. Its not until he started hugging her, started to show her interest in a way a husband shows his wife interest, did she then start to be ok with it and maybe even accept that something could develop between them.

She's literally the only good one in this story atm.

For everyone who's wondering why she didn't go against her parents - because she's a middle class indian girl in born & bred in Punjab. As modern as she may seem to be about education and working etc, culture and family respect is still a thing, especially in that part of the world. It takes another level of brave to go against your family's begging and refuse to marry someone - been there done that but I'm American raised, I have different rebellion streak in me 🤣 that my cousins who were raised back home don't really have. Western raised south asians are more conditioned to fight for our rights than homegrown ones are - especially the girls. I should know, my mom complains about this enough 🤣🤣.

I know its generalizing and a lot of that type of culture has changed, but this is ITV - here, this part of brown culture won't ever change unless the character in question is a 'bad person' (i.e. someone like Jasmine). Tejo wants to work and have a career etc., but that doesn't mean she is selfish either. So she saw Fateh was willing to do it, he's an all around good guy (at the time), the families are begging her, idk, I can see why she said yes even if I never would have.

Jasmine.. remember she's doing this to her own sister too. The less I talk about her the better. She broke every code out there and deserves to be left alone to rot.
