Fateh will not willingly hurt Tejo. He has imprinted on her...so he is incapable of wishing hurt on her.

Moving on....I realized another one of my arrows met the target today 😅

This was something I had analysed sometime back -

"Fateh also has been playing with the upper hand. After the wedding fiasco, it is Jasso who is trying to reach to him....running after him. And feeling vindicated at her longing for him, Fateh is moving on... leaving her behind. He is irritated with her and has a sense of disgust at the way she pursues him. This takes an abrupt turn when Jasso moves past him without talking to him. He is immediately rattled at the change of equation and reacts immediately.... searching her out to understand her actions. Unlike to Jasso's delusional mind, it is not love. It is a feeling of competitiveness, a measure of insecurity at feeling frazzled by her ignoring him and finally his curiousity to her motives."

Fateh might relapse. He might want to get back to Jasso. He might be obsessed with her....but he cannot stop the feeling of vengeance that burns through him. Something he is yet to realise. He is not kind hearted like Tejo. He wants Jasmine to suffer rejecting him. He wants to be at a pedestal and Jasmine to strive for him where he will reject her.

Ye banda sidha nahi hain. Like Jasso...he has greyer shades to his character too.

Remember how their characters were introduced.

Fateh just wanted to marry Jasso.

Jasso will marry only to go to Canada.

And Poor Tejo is stuck between their dreams.

This is the gist of this entire fiasco. Fateh couldn't marry Jasso. Jasso couldn't go to Canada through Fateh. Till then things were straight.

But then Tejo enters the equation and a new connection forges between them. Fateh wants to show Jasso that he is happy with Tejo while she longs for him and Jasso wants Fateh to come running back after her.

Its a battle of egos. Not of love or care or longing. Like the song that introduced them; both their dreams collapsed because of each other.

And Fateh cannot see Jasso moving on unaffected. He knows no one can love her like he did and he is determined to see her reap what she had sown. Which is why he wants to flaunt his relationship with Tejo in front of her and her ignoring that hurts him, especially his ego.

As per the lyrics.....Tejo is actually stuck between their dreams as now their original dreams are shattered and instead they dream of fulfillment of their egos.

Fateh is not blind. He knows what Tejo is and what Jasmine is. In fact I would say....I feel as if sometimes he is willingly leading Tejo on. He wants her to want him; to always be loyal and devoted to him; love him the way he always wanted. This is completely my take but as I observe Fateh.... sometimes it is his grey shade and it's potential that flips to my mind.

I've two things, and you can explain better. You actually forecasted that Fateh is used to tejo (and we know that part was true because Fateh had no idea chameli was around) and he's constantly missing tejo.

Now, you said Fateh is purposely leading her on, and he can't hurt her intentionally. But if he's leading her on without loving her while demanding the loyalty, love, isn't he hurting her?

I wholeheartedly agree he's grey shades. He's vindictive, and isn't going suffer injury to his ego easily.

I understand what I said might sound contradictory.

Ok...Lemme dissect.

Fateh leading her on does not have any vindictive intention towards Tejo according to him. He doesn't see that it would hurt her. According to him, I feel, he considers Tejo is the candle that burns for him in the dark night.

A candle burns itself and melts to offer light all around. Same is Tejo's case. She is placing herself for a massive heartbreak trying to bring light to his life.

My pov is that Fateh knows his dependence on Tejo. In fact his entire frame of vengeance against Jasmine by having a happy married life and being successful is based entirely on Tejo caring for him. The reason that he only takes and expects everything from her without even thinking of loving her is simple - he never expects her to ask that of him.

Fateh has a problem of making pedestals. He placed Jasmine in one and feel apart.

Now he has placed Tejo in one. A pedestal where he expects her to be his grounding force. He doesn't really expects her to ask anything back. This is his blind spot that is going to hit him hard. Because Tejo is falling in love and while he doesn't expect to hurt her....he will.

And I am going to enjoy watching it...with popcorn.

Your pedestal comparison clears it nicely. And despite how sad I find it, your last line cracked me up

I posted this on another thread. Most probably, Jas will pull suicide trap to make Fateh and Tejo guilty leading to Tejo breaking up with Fateh. But I would prefer if Jas is angered by Fateh's rejection and try to frame him in molestation charge. At least that will lead to Fateh's total detachment with her. Also, Tejo will support him as she knows he can never cross that line. And considering Maami's warning, she may also get out of 'my sweet but bit silly sister' rant and see her cunning ways.

As always, your analysis hit the mark and I feel more agitated then ever. Your words "Fateh seedha nahi hai" hit me in the sore spot, because it's those grey characters that are unpredictable and iffy.

@bold: WT*?! why does this seem plausible again? Him knowingly leading her on sounds more reasonable than him being totally oblivious to it. Knowing how inexperienced Tejo is in the love department, it'd be a piece of cake to get her to love him, given how she already considers him her best friend.

😲😲😲

There's no way he doesn't understand. He's totally satisfying his ego if he does end up running after her.

From now on I will never use that word. It will be termed as 'you know what'.

😂😂😂

Why Niki?!!?

I usually use the term 'you know what' to describe s*x !! 😆 Now I can't get the image out of my mind!!
