Actor Gaurav Sareen, who was in news for his sudden exit from the show 'Krishna Chali London', has bagged a new project. He has been signed on to play the new male lead on the long-running show, 'Udann'. The makers have roped in new faces to take the story forward post the time-leap of 10 years. Gaurav will play the hero opposite the grown-up Anjor post the leap. As reported by us, Arti Singh and Anurag Sharma have been signed on to play the couple, who adopts Anjor.A source associated with the show tells us, "Yes, we have finalised Gaurav to join the cast post the time leap. His character will belong to a middle-class family and will be paired opposite Anjor on the show post the leap."
Gaurav, who has also featured on 'Ek Deewaana Tha', confirmed, "Yes, I have been signed on to play the new male lead on 'Udann'."
When we asked him about his overnight exit from 'Krishna Chali London', he said, "Honestly, even I don't know the exact reason behind the decision. I was told that a new guy will be introduced, as the show moves into the second part of the story. I was taken aback by the decision for some time, but I am fine now. I was told that I would be called back after a month in a new avatar, but that hasn't happened, as the new track is doing well."
