Yes, TRPs have got affected by TRAI but it has been going on for 3 or 4 weeks, Zee is the worst affected. TRAI doesn't explain how the gap between Roop and Udaan has increased, they're on the same channel.

There was a time when Udaan was the 3rd best weekday drama on Colors even after the time slot change, now they're at the mercy of the channel.

They promoted the week as the mother-daughter first meeting, but it backfired. I didn't expect the drop but seems people aren't interested in Chakor vs Anjor.

Part of me is sad TRPs drop, I still want Udaan to do well, but part of me want makers to learn a lesson. Keeping Chakor isn't enough if the story isn't interesting.

Viewers never connected with young Anjor, they were never going to connect with the grown up version and no one would believe that Meera is Tanya's mother.

Viewers gave the leap a chance in the first week, but didn't like what was offered.

Hope this makes them let Meera go earlier than planned.

D2h connections have no problem but cable TV operators still having problems( cable TV subscribers are more in number) and they seek more time to sort things and free channels are available here but not any paid channels like Star,Zee,Colors etc.

Though Asianet a star group popular paid channel here available.

I think there is confusions regarding new system and payment etc for operators.

After leap,an increase in trp for first week is usual with Udaan.

But this time,the increase is very low margin.

Infact Anjor never created any liking from audience.

So their guts to take leap was unbelievable.

Child tracks not attracting people even Shakti dropped after child track came.

Same with Udaan but still Udaan came back earlier.

But in this slot,they focussed on Anjor and story always centred around that character that doesn't attract people.

May be they are planning generation leap for that they focused on Anjor more than Sukor.

Once they finalise leap,there was lot of changes in story for last one month or more.

The over importance to Imli,don't know for what but may be they want to take her after leap.

But actress not ready for it.

And the consistent 1.3 falls.

If they didn't bring back Imli and love triangle and focussed on slow development of Raghv and Chakor story then trps would have still consistent.

Atleast till after IPL,Udaan can be safe with Meejay as leads then.

But the overconfidence of makers messed up everything.

TRAI's new system itself is highly confusing. Even for DTH...all the packs are very confusing. I have tatasky too. And I guess another problem is that monthly bills are going up for everyone with the new order. Either pay more than what you paid before or compromise on channels.
